I had a good stay overall but communication by property owner was non existent. I almost had to rebook a hotel because owner did not communicate where to enter the property.

If your looking for a bare minimum place to rest your head after a fun-filled day of sight seeing then your in luck. After being smacked in the face w the ever looming smell of moth balls… You can enjoy the paper thin pillows on the mattress from hell after you shower w spiders, dead bugs and hair. An almost used roll of toilet paper and paper towels were left over for our stay. Needless to say we ran out the next night. We managed to find a new roll of paper towels tucked away, but had to ask for toilet paper to which she quickly responded. Unfortunately, it wasn’t left out til the morning of our departure, 2 days later. The plates had to be re-washed as half of them had big dried up water puddles in the center. Good thing we didn’t need the washer because there was wet damp hair all over the inside on the door. The bedroom with the better mattress had water damage to the ceiling where bits of the spackle was falling off all over the dresser. I literally had to wipe this off before sitting anything down. The outlets look like they could be somewhat of a fire hazard as none were flush to the wall and at an angle. The white chairs on each side of the table as well as the kitchen chairs were all painted white. As in the fabric is painted. Sit lightly as they feel very fragile and could break. As a matter of fact, I noticed one was broke and just shoved back in place. They were nice enough to offer K-cups that had splashes of dried liquid, and the fridge was riddled in crumbs

Host was very communicative. Good location parking o street. Steps to the basement are vey steep so those with mobility issues struggle. Home was clean and met all of our needs

The property was as you see in the pictures, but it could have been cleaner. There were dead bugs in the corners and we ran out of hand soap after one day. However, host was very communicative when we needed more soap or to take the trash out.The stairs are tricky, so if you have any mobility issues I would not recommend this place. My children did not mess with any of the glass objects in the display case or the detergent and cleaning supplies but know that if you have young children, these items are unable to be locked away.Overall, this VRBO met all our needs for the week; these things are just to keep in mind.

I would stay here again. It was a reasonable price for a nice space. 22 minute walk from the nearest metro at Georgia/Petworth. Beware that some windows don't have treatments if you plan to use the pullout couch leading to a lot of morning sun. A few quirks such as a broken china cabinet, kinks in the paper shades, and a wireless connection on the TV that needs to have a light switch on, but overall well kept up with good amenities. My biggest concern was not the space but communication. The host was very responsive while we where there, but not very responsible before our arrival and didn't provide much information leaving us to have to figure it out. More advanced communication and a welcome/orientation packet would have made a big difference in our experience.

We were visiting our college kid who lives just a few blocks away from the VRBO. Her place is much too small to accommodate all of us. It was great to meet up and have time together. The location is great. Accessibility to buses and the Metro. Hosts were attentive and responsive to us. We highly recommend this VRBO.
