Close to downtown, The Strip District, Pittsburgh’s major sports stadiums, museums and art venues, yet quiet enough to hear birds & cicadas on our private grassy patio over the city humming.
Whether you’re coming for a sports game, a concert, a college graduation or just sightseeing- this place offers you a perfect location.
Just 1 to 2 miles away from some of the Pittsburgh’s most interesting venues, easily walkable, on city bike routes, approximately 300 yards from the city bus stops and half a block away from major transit routes (Interstate I-279 and PA Rt.28). Located in one of the oldest buildings in the historic Deutschtown neighborhood in the North Side of Pittsburgh the apartment represents a perfect yet quirky mix of historical preservation, the modern convenience and style. The building has just recently been thoroughly remodeled to utilize new, energy-efficient technologies in a 123 years old structure.

We enjoyed our time at Eva’s property. My son loved the amount of snacks she so graciously left around the apartment. Great location to walk to the baseball game and see the sights!

We were in town to watch the Chiefs Steelers game. Eva is an artist and the house shares her joyous vibe. This is what you hope for when visiting a different part of the country. Cozy place located a convenient walk to restaurants, bars and stadiums.

We lived our stay here! The apt is walkable to The Strip and downtown, and to the fabulous Warhol Museum. We had everything we needed in the apt and more for a very comfortable, relaxing stay. Will definitely return!

The host had thought of absolutely everything, like a huge container of freshly sharpened colored pencils and grown-up coloring book, and a cute set of polka dot mugs. The unit had lots of fun and funky Pittsburgh charm and character, like Steelers throw pillows and quirky historical details. We enjoyed walking to Yinz Coffee (about 20 mins) and Penn Brewery (about 6 mins), and it was easy to Uber right across the bridge to the Strip District. Nice little views of a few skyscrapers from multiple windows in the unit. There was a cool Bavarian-looking building across the street housing a members-only German club. Loved being so close to the Strip District without having to pay downtown prices, and the host made it easy to park. Great soundproofing — didn’t hear anyone next door and we didn’t hear the rest of our family in the second bedroom or the bathroom during the night. Would stay again!

We enjoyed a nice stay in a clean and well decorated property that had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and appliances with several types of coffee to choose. The snacks and treats were a nice surprise and we enjoyed them. Thanks Eva for providing a nice place to stay in Pittsburgh!
