From start to finish our trip was great. Room had everything needed for an extended stay. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials to prepare a meal. I personally appreciated the gas stove. Only downfall for me was placement of the microwave. I couldn’t reach it but my tall son could. A/C worked great on the 90 degree days and the pillows were extra comfy. My only suggestions are maybe a hook or another towel bar in the bathroom and another roll of toilet paper for more than a 3 day stay.Claudia, our host was attentive, very quick to respond to messages and very helpful. Thank you for a wonderful get-a-way.

    1. Gas leaking from stove’s pilot hunters not burning completely. Had to turn off the gas after 2 days or risk being gassed to death or die from explosion. So no usage of stove for our entire stay as we were too stressed with the leakage. Smell of gas resolved after turning off the gas supply. 2. Toilet bowl choked after a few days of usage. Was asked to diy with a plunger delivered by cleaning lady after 2 hours of waiting. Did not resolve issue of water not draining. Claudia was responsive but initially told us no handyman was working that Friday morning. He eventually came after I added pressure. Did not throw any toilet paper after that, into the bowl but it repeated its plumbing problem less than a week later. gave up trying to unclog the drainage problem after more than a day, and told Claudia about it. By then we were psychologically traumatised, limiting food and water intake as there was no toilet we could use. Same guy turned up faster this time, thankfully. Not sure if due to me asking to change apartment. Please note first floor apartment tends to have this issue as the apartment block is very old. 3. Laundromat usage requires a lot of quarters which we had a hard time getting. The coin change machine did not work throughout our 15 nights’ stay. Do note on this issue, and be prepared. Needless to say, our stay was an unhappy one. Quite a few window locks were also faulty, so the advice to lock them before going out (especially since we had the unfortunate first floor apartment) was quite useless. To be fair, Claudia was very responsible and contactable. It’s just the apartment was not fit for staying in. It wasn’t the cheapest option around either. We regret to say we will never rent a Vrbo apartment again after this unfortunate experience.

Claudia was a very helpful host with our check-in time and also with a pack‘n‘play. Also the flat was very nice. The only thing we didn’t know that we would need to use two different tickets to get to Manhattan and to get around in Manhattan. Anyways we had a great stay at your flat. Thanks Claudia

Was overall a great experience. This property is located very close to the city, was very clean upon arrival, and Claudia was timely in her responses. I would highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a place to stay near the city without the crazy high price you would pay in the city.

clean, in quiet neighbourhood, public bus stop in front of the place, mini-apartment with almost all one could expect. From the kitchen (fully accessories) to the large comfortable bed in a nice bedroom and the little dining room with table and cozy sofa, large fridge, no problem wit h hot water, little restroom (with nothing missing)... ...apart from the wi-fi that worked only on the first day and then that as I arrived there was not even 1 coffee to be prepared, everything nice and new, but totally empty. but maybe this is my Italian side that' s too pretentious... ;) I would come back! (bringing my own coffe...) Giulio
