The property's location is superb, and the apartment is modern and immaculate, but the lack of attention to the detail of every day living is quite shocking. Perhaps coming from the UK and being used to staying in nice hotels when we travel abroad means our expectations are different to others, I don't know. We stayed in the split-level apartment, number 15. There's no ironing board and no iron. There's a corkscrew, but no wine glasses. There's no kettle. There are no English or English speaking TV channels. There is one 3ft hanging rail and five hangers (for two adults?). There are two sofa beds in the lounge, but literally nowhere for any clothes. There are two draws in the bedroom. There is nowhere to hang coats. On the main back wall there is a long shelf unit, but no mains sockets. There is no privacy from the apartments opposite (they all have nets) as the apartment has only curtains. There is only one not very big mirror in the bathroom. Not even a mirror in the bedroom. There is nowhere in the (huge) shower to put anything other than the floor. There's no light in the shower. The apartment is not cleaned daily as the marketing material says. There is literally no information about anything. No nap, nothing about buses or trains, no helpful information about cultural differences or customs. It is pure laziness. Manuela was the manager who's office is in the basement, and whilst she tried to be helpful and solve some of my queries, it was obvious she considered my request for things like an ironing board and iron, and wine glasses, to be an irritation. Still no kettle was provided, but perhaps Italians and everyone else in the world only drink coffee. When I complained about the lack of English TV channels, Manuela sent somebody in to do something that resulted only in us having a couple of English news channels - and also only on the TV in the lounge. The TV in the bedroom was ignored. It's as though money has been spent on quality fittings and decor, but nobody has even considered what's it's like to actually live there - and that's exactly what you do when you stay for more than a few days - you live there, like home from home. We would never consider staying there again and would actively not recommend it.
