The apartment is clean, reasonably priced, and extremely easy to locate. You have what you need to cook minimal meals, can do your laundry and take a shower. If you are looking to walk to the beach, walk to restaurants this isn't the place to stay. It is an older property that could use some updating. In this day and time... there should be a larger TV in the living room and TVs in the bedrooms. The TV in the living room is very small and very outdated. The back door pops open on its own b/c the latch does not work...the only thing keeping it from totally opening is the chain latch. It opened a minimum of four times while we were there. Could use some updated furniture and places to sit. Located on a very busy street so you will hear the outside traffic, which for many is no big deal. If you are looking for a place to just sleep, shower and heat up a pizza... it's perfect. They did allow us to check in early and left a welcoming bottle of wine. Bottom line is - it just depends on your demands. We had no issues with critters or noisy neighbors. Easy to park in front of location. The sitting porch has nice view of Bishop's Palace. Was nice to be able to do laundry and not have to deal with loud people on a holiday week. It is a old bungalow that has charm on the outside. We stayed in Suite A and it would be interesting to see what the other bungalows are like.

I have lived on the island twice in my lifetime. I come back often. My daughter and her family currently live in Galveston. And I cruise a lot. This bungalow was perfect for my needs. I have already told friends and family about this historical home! Loved the location as well. Did not feel touristy at all. Had the feel of home! Only issues were there were some roaches in the kitchen cabinets which is not unusual in a tropical environment and the washing machine leaked onto the carpet as it filled. Owner was very responsive to issues! Will definitely book this bungalow again!

We loved the location! The hosts had a welcome basket when we arrived. We could walk to the strand, local restaurants and enjoy the porch. Will definitely stay again!

Our stay at this location was very pleasant, particularly as the master bedroom was quiet and the bed comfortable. We enjoyed its charm and lovely view of Sacred Heart Church.

This was my first ever trip to Galveston texas and my first time using Vrbo. Everything was amazing the bungalow was the cutest place I’ve ever stayed at! It reminds me of summers when I would stay with my great oma. Very clean, just the right size! Great and safe neighborhood! I def will be recommending this to family and friends! I also will def be returning! Thank you! For opening it up to me!

We park our car outside in a very busy street, it was kind of dangerous trying to get in or out of the car because of the traffic, but the disappointing issue was when we open the door of the bungalow and this humid musty odor get into out noses, the place sould be cute, but definitely needs new carpet, furniture and renovation, the fridge was moldy! As well as the AC grills (thats unhealthy) And there were no pressure of water at all! It was impossible to shower Since just a little bit of water came of the shower!, so we borrowed a plastic jar and a plastic cupfrom the kitchen to catch water in it and that was the only way to shower!! It was very very disappointing,

We went to Galveston to celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary. The house is perfect for a small group, very cozy. It has two room with 3 beds. It is located in a great spot right down from the beach.
