This one bedroom apartment is located on the top (5th floor) of a XIX century building. A few steps away from the République Square. It has an elevator and all the amenities a traveller could be looking for. The living room holds a convertible sofa, which can sleep two people, a LCD television, and a large dining table.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a traditional and a microwave oven, a four burner stove, a refrigerator, and a dishwasher. The bathroom includes a combined tub/shower and a washer/dryer. The bedroom has a hotel quality queen size bed (160*200 cm or 64*80 inches). the apartment is fully air conditionned.

In the living room, two large windows on a balcony facing west overlook the square while the bedroom and the kitchen, that face east, have rooftop views.

The apartment comes with free phone to 100 countries including North America and Australia, free WIFi, and free cable TV.

The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.

The location is very convenient to explore Paris. It is on the northern edge of Le Marais. The nearest metro station is Filles du Calvaire on line 8. Republique, which is a main metro hub with direct access to lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11, is only 5 minutes away. Since Republique has so many metro lines, you can basically go anywhere in Paris directly with no metro change. As an example, the Eiffel Tower, which is on the other side of Paris, is only twenty minutes away with line 9. And you can also walk to very center of Paris, Le Châtelet, in 15 minutes.

The area is safe and residential. The oldest Paris open-air market, Le Marché des Enfants Rouges, which is open daily except on Mondays, is two blocks away.

There is a wide range of restaurants and a number of supermarkets in the immediate neighborhood and the trendy Rue de Bretagne is at your doorstep.

Please be aware of the contractual 40 euro for any check in before 100pm and after 900pm. If the apartment is not rented the night before the 40 euro applies in all cases. If the apartment is rented the night before we do not charge the early check in, we can check you in starting 1000am, keep your luggage but ask you to leave the apartment until the cleaning is finished i.e., around 100pm.

Amazing location, with great dining options close by. The metro is literally at the front door, which makes traveling so easy. Highly recommend this location and the owner was really friendly and helpful.

This is a comfortable apartment on the top floor of an older building, with big windows looking out over rooftops. Everything works as it is supposed to: the lift is small but reliable, the shower is strong with plenty of hot water, and the rooms were a comfortable temperature even as it was unusually cold outside. The WiFi worked well and the tv has streaming options. The bedroom is very quiet because it’s in the back and higher than what’s behind it. Located very close to two metro stations: Oberkampf is particularly handy for getting to/from Gare du Nord. Plenty of good restaurants, supermarkets, and specialty shops in every direction. Highly recommended!

The only tricky part for me was the extremely short toilet. Hard on the knees!

This is my second stay in this apartment, since I found it, 6 years ago. (Not by choice! I tend to book late and it was occupied on my other trips!). I love this place. To sit out on the balcony and listen to the street below, especially on Sunday evenings!, is such a nice way to decompress from the day, with a nice glass of wine or cocktail. Everything in this apartment works well and, unlike one of the other reviews, I like having the water closet (and separate sink) in it's own separate room. (Yes, it looks like it's a closet but you have to remember, this building was built before indoor plumbing was common!). If I were traveling with people, I'd definitely see that as a bonus, so people could be doing different things at the same time. Linens and bed are comfy and clean, regardless of whether the towels match (Note: The towels match at a Motel 6, but that doesn't make it someplace I'd want to stay!). The actual space is very large and the washer/dryer is a dream, if you like to pack lightly. The area is lively and accessible to everything, with 3 Metro stations within a 5 minute walk.

The location of this apartment was close to good restaurants, boulangeries, metro station, and bus stops. It was an easy walk to Ile de Cite to visit Notre Dame and other sites there.

We had a great Paris trip, staying in the Le Marais district. The apartment is central to most of the things you want to do and see, easy to get around as a metro station is right across the square, good walking routes and good restaurants and bakeries near by. The apartment is a one bedroom layout and a pretty good size, which is good for an extended stay such as ours. It had everything you would expect of an apartment, and has air conditioning, which we didn't need due to time of year, but a necessity in the summer. Price was competitive with others in the area. The owner Olivier was very helpful with arranging our stay, and was responsive to our questions. A super host. Highly recommended.

The apartment was roomy albeit a really funky space. The toilet is literally in the broom closet (with a sink); the apartment staircase wall is big part of the apt. hallway; the bathroom has old-time tub and shower. Probably dangerous for people to hoist over the tub if not flexible. The most negative aspect was the massive disappointment in bedding and towels. Dingy colored, flat pillows w/no pillow cases and the sheets were dingy grayish as was the duvet and cover. It’s as if they were purchased a hospital resale shop. We couldn’t get over how dingy it all looked and no fluff to the pillows and the duvet. And the duvet was yellowing! The mattress pad was an old flannel type, nothing about the bed felt fresh and clean. The towels were also mismatched with too many years of use. Back home we would use these to wash our car. Trust me, this is no exaggeration. All that said, it was a funky Paris apartment with tiny, workable, kitchen, big windows and comfy sitting and dining areas - actually the best part of the space! It is 3 blocks from a terrific Tues/Thurs market and close to subways and walking distance from nearly everything. The best, best part is that it has a great washer/dryer combo!

Olivier met us at the front door when we arrived and took his time to show us around the apartment and how to work all the appliances. Much appreciated! They could use a new bed because it had a big rut in it, but everything else was perfect. Excellent restaurants in the same block, easy access to buses and the Metro and a fairly quiet neighborhood. I'd stay here again.

Good property, pretty much has everything you need in and close by. Had to buy toilet paper and had issues getting into the apartment initially, however, once resolved had no issues and enjoyed our stay.

Great location with that perfect Paris feeling that comes with a balcony. The place had everything we needed including AC. Owner was responsive and kind. The bedroom is in the back and quiet but if you need to sleep in the main room you may need ear plugs as the bar on the corner is open till 2. I could not hear it if I ran the AC. You can easily walk to great restaurants and even the seine from here. Very charming area with a rich history.

Helpful host. Olivier wanted to ensure we had a good time. Accommodation was awesome. Loved the option of the elevator or super cute windy staircase. It was clean, had a Parisian feel to it, lovely views from the balcony and close to 2 train stations and many restaurant's, bars and patisserie’s.

Walking was a bit long to center city attractions but learned Metro system quickly. Great local bars/cafes…young crowd. Unit needs more storage areas for luggage though.
