1-bedroom Lakefront vacation Unit just 13 minutes from Tacoma Dome

Close to family that we were visiting. Cold drafty house with water pressure issues. Place looked better in the photos that in person...

Beautiful view of the lake. Shopping and food are close.

When we pulled up we were greeted by the care taker who showed us the property and what it had to offer. Was a great get away for my brothers wedding.

Several Do’s and Dont’s on this property. Felt like the manager was “hovering and worrying” the whole stay. I saw him literally yell at a female guest for not putting on her life jacket before checking out the kayaks. She wasn’t even ready to launch yet. After that I avoided him. He obviously has issues and doesn’t like people very much.

The property itself was a little old and creaky, however the host was super nice and we loved the amenities!! The boats were a fun plus! We did get lost trying to find the unit so that was a bit of a pain.

Great little one bedroom appt on the water. It was perfect for my husband and I. And the views were so pretty. Very local to lots of shopping and eats. We will totally use this property again. The hosts were very responsive and very nice.

Lakefront views and recreation options. The new managers were very friendly, are working hard to keep making improvements to an older property.

Our stay was wonderful. Our host was very accommodating and easy to work with. The location was beautiful and quiet, not to mention close to everything you would need.

I lived in this area 60 years ago so i was seeking the peacefullness and feel of a different era. This exceeded my expectations and i intend to return.

We enjoyed the beautiful grounds and out view of the lake. The apartment was roomy and bed very comfortable. On the hot days the ceiling fans were wonderful. Lots of supplies in the kitchen and in the bathroom.

This is a nice, simple apartment very close to shops, the freeway, Safeway, etc. The lake and backyard are lovely. Tiffanie (the hostess) responds immediately to questions and needs. The host and the owner left sweet presents for me and my daughter, which was very thoughtful. People with walking or carrying issues should be aware that the rental apartments are on the second and third floors and are only accessible from outside stairs. People should also be aware that this is not exclusively a vacation rental, but that there are regular apartment units in this building.

Nice property. Property mangers are very kind and helpful. Will be staying again in a few months.

Cute little place to stay, quiet neighborhood, but close to shopping/dining

Very pretty view , cute place., would recommend. Convenient to grocery store. Instacart delivers there. Convenient to JBLM as well. I had 18 day stay. The only drawbacks. Laundry room locked and was unable to reach #instructed to call. Water pressure low in kitchen. No drawers to put clothes in , you can hang them up but bring some hangers. The lock you put code in is on the actual door and not the other coded locks on wall.

Loved my stay here for business in Tacoma. The lake was beautiful and everything was as advertised or better. Would book again

Unlocking the place was tricky. Quick to respond to my text asking for help. There was a smell. Not bad. Just super noticeable. Clean. Could use a deep clean throughout. Partiers were loud underneath and outside the window Saturday night. Not enough space to leave a thorough review.

Love being by the water in a lovely neighborhood.

The property is lovely. Being right on the lake is wonderful, we had bonfires and used the canoe, the lake is clean. It's in a quiet neighborhood with close by amenities. The unit, house is old, but we love that old charm and it was clean. Our onsite host Roshon was very nice and answered any questions we had. We will definitely be coming back to visit our daughter and would stay there again!

Overall great quiet location right on the lake! There isn’t a hot tub on the property (which I thought there was based on the posting). WiFi doesn’t work so plan on using data. Kitchen was lacking some basics like salt. It was

Really confusing check in system - with 2 apparent locks, but only one lock being used. I was told someone would be there to check me in and she just wasn't available, despite many messages. So we just were mostly on our own. She did eventually come help us out a bit. Bottom line, be prepared to just kind of figure things out yourself. The listing promises cable and streaming. There was none of that. And not even the basic channels worked. I did point that out to the woman helping us and eventually she brought us a brand new Firestick that we had to set up. Other than that - it was a lovely stay. Really. The water is very accessible and there were plenty of water toys. Very easy access to the Lakewood mall. Lovely.

I came from Texas where air conditioning is a necessity. So you can imagine how felt when I finally was able to find my room was in town for a wedding. I did not know that most places did not have air conditioning.

We were in town to help a family member move and foind this great apartment right on Steilacoom lake. Everything thing we nneded and more. Only wish we were able to enjot the apartment more.
