1 bedroom apartment over garage in South Freeport. The apartment has a great view looking over our 7 acre spring fed pond. In the summer, bring your swim suit or winter bring your hockey skates, always something to do on the pond. The property flanks a large wooded lot with hiking trails or cross country skiing in the winter. You can walk or ski your way to downtown Freeport shopping from out location and the harbor is only a mile away. Must like dogs. We have 2 very friendly black Labradors

Stayed Sep 13, 2025Our experience here was a very peaceful and restorative one. Our wonderful hosts who offered insights about the area, and their pond offers an opportunity for intimate observations of nature. Local hikes and a visit to the harbor in South Freeport are definitely worth doing. We certainly hope to return to this beautiful place in the future!

Stayed Sep 3, 2023We really enjoyed the property and trails around the area. Kris and Susan are real good people as well as Blue. The location can't be beat with easy access to everything and a beautiful setting.

Stayed Sep 24, 2022Kris and Sue were wonderful hosts. The apartment is lovely and had some great amenities - like a washer and dryer - which made life much easier. The location, complete with a pond, provides a quiet, peaceful atmosphere. Overall a wonderful place to spend time.
