Stayed Jul 23, 2025The host was so nice and so accessible on WhatsApp. She answered and made it extremely easy to get the keys to this gem. It’s like stepping into the old world of Genova, perfectly perched overlooking much of the city. It’s an old world rustic feel. Like staying in an old castle. the kitchen set up was everything we needed. Small fridge, perfect to store our drinks, fruit, and some left overs. Great coffee maker! You can’t beat this location. Steps from the metro or bus stop at Piazza De Ferrari. There are a ton of options to eat and drink. We enjoyed as many as we could during our stay. Found our favorite gelato place after trying about 5 or 6 within a short walk. Less then 8 min walk to The port of Genova. Very close to a cool part of history, the house where Christopher Columbus grew up, Worth a visit! It was summer, but we opened up the windows in the first night and let all the fresh air blow through, it was truly a beautiful Italian evening. The we enjoyed the cafe right out side and sat and people watched for an hour each day, I can’t say enough about this place. The AC worked great. There is an elevator since it’s located all the way on the top of the building. It also has a small private balcony/porch you can bring chairs and sit outside and enjoy a beverage and the fresh air. We had 2 adults and 2 teenagers. They made one of the chairs that folded into a bed, so my kids each had a bed to themselves!Hope you love this place as much as we did.
