Stayed Aug 3, 2024Our experience at the Woods was wonderful. Alicia was helpful and happy to share the story of the former elementary school turned event venue. How fun to get to stay in a comfortably reimagined classroom! We appreciated the thoughtful touches in our room and in the breakfast area, and would definitely make this our home base again next time we visit the Manistee National Forest.

Stayed Jun 29, 2024What an awesome idea! Turning an old school into a vacation rental. Our room was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. It had just opened so a few things are still under construction but they are doing an amazing job. The rental ballroom looks amazing. I will definitely stay there again.
