Stayed May 6, 2026This historic mansion was located in the heart of Bardstown. Park the car and walk everywhere!!! We had the upstairs Bourbon Loft, which consisted of a nice, roomy bedroom and small bathroom. Across the hall we had the entire great room lounging area with a TV, coffee maker, and fridge. We enjoyed 4 nights in this wonderful VRBO. The only thing I do have to mention, if you choose any rental in the main part of Bardstown, it will be buzzing with activity - people and CARS! The car noise is slightly diminished being on the 2nd floor. This property is located near a roundabout. It is tucked back from the road - between 2 buildings. We really didn't mind because we were out and about until later evening. The traffic noise is more noticeable on the weekday mornings. Would we stay there again, - absolutely! I feel any hints from fellow travelers, is helpful...

Stayed Feb 27, 2026We had a wonderful stay, much needed weekend getaway! The bed was incredibly comfortable and cozy, and I appreciated the extra blankets it had. Yes, the roadway outside was a little nosy at times, but that is unavoidable and wasn’t a big deal. I always pack a fan and with the provided sound machine, it drowned out the noise. We slept very well! The historic charm and beautiful space just added to our lovely stay.
