Portland, Maine
Location, Location, Location! Welcome to The Inn at Parkspring! Formerly the Parkspring Bed & Breakfast, we recently dropped the breakfast to serve Vrbo guests near and far as a boutique hotel.
ROOM 4: By far our most spacious room, it is located on the third floor and has plenty of windows to bring in an abundance of afternoon sunshine. A queen bed, oversized headboard, sofa, and plants make up this bright retreat. The room also comes with one, off street parking spot just one block away.
The space:
This historic home was built in the early 1800s and has served many purposes. What started as a single family home turned into an antique store, then converted to a rooming house, morphed into a bed and breakfast in the 1980's, and recently dropped the breakfast to serve Vrbo guests near and far.
The location of the Inn at Parkspring cannot be beat. We are located downtown, just a half mile walk to the center of the Old Port. Our neighborhood offers you a central spot located in the heart of the arts district, on the edge of the tranquil west end neighborhood, and just a stones throw to museums, art galleries, theaters, restaurants, shops, and bars.
With just six guest rooms, our inn offers a peaceful stay, satisfying social guests or those seeking solace. Each private room, with private en-suite bath, is furnished with a queen sized bed, television (no cable, just smart TV with Netflix account), white noise machine, a reading chair (or couch depending on the room), and a mini fridge.
Other things to note:
The inn has been newly renovated and will still be going through some exterior transformations over the spring and summer of 2022. During this time, you may see construction type activities ranging from window replacements to landscaping. All work is completed between 10am-6pm unless otherwise communicated by host.
What a fantastic place. Easily walk all over. Beautiful neighborhood. Katrina is a wonderful host. All communication was smooth and friendly. Apartment was perfect for our 2 night stay. clean and quiet yet just steps from great food and drinks. We will definitely stay here again when we are in Portland. Having parking was a huge plus.
We had an enjoyable stay in Portland. The property was well maintained and allowed us access to various parts of the city. If you want to be closer to the water and Old Port, I would suggest an alternative spot as this location is about a 10-15 walk up the hill. We would definitely encourage those that are looking for an apartment type vibe to stay at this Inn!
Great deal for such a central location.. Our room was on the top floor and while we could faintly hear outside sounds we never heard a peep from other's staying in the inn.. Loved the contactless check-in/out. We'll definitely be return customers..
The place was very nice, cozy, clean and the location couldn’t be better! Katrina is very communicative as well and makes sure you have everything needed and that you will enjoy your stay. Highly recommend!
