Stayed for work with a few people. Beautiful property and the host was great!

This is my happy place. Serene and relaxing to melt the stress away. The home is comfortably appointed, plenty of room for socializing (or escape), and the porch is perfect for rain or shine. Easy access to Rt 7 and points North or South. Sherry is a considerate and attentive owner - always responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed staying at this prperty as location and surrounding was very scenic. The house very comfortable, the bed rooms and bathroom were very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked our breakfast and dinner at home only. The living room and family room were well decorated with nice electric fire place. The location was close to attractions and we all had lovel time. The host checked with us few times for our comfort and we all appreciate the same. We had a wedding in Goshen Vermont at the Blueberry Hill Inn. This lovely home was only 15 minutes from the venue so was perfect location for us. The home was perfect, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.

We came to Brandon for a family wedding and had the best experience at the property. Sherry was a very attentive host, the house was gorgeous and the grounds were incredible. There were horses and a couple of ponds. We will definitely be back.

Once again , we had a very enjoyable week in Brandon Vt. The area is relaxing with several places to visit, such as Plymouth and Calvin Coolidge's homestead...Hildene in Manchestet, Ticonderoga across the lake...we had a spectacular weather week and look forward to next year...God willing...thanks Sherry, for all your hospitable assitance and welcoming spirit...Leo & Joyce Martin

The house was quite large and beautifully appointed. Everything was clean and great attention was paid to comfort. The grounds and ponds were beautiful, as was the wildlife. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes. There are 2 main sitting areas, each with a TV and plenty of seating. 3 bedrooms are on the lower level with 2 baths. One bath is attached to 1 bedroom with a queen bed. The upstairs is a lovely suite with a queen bed, full bath and small study. We would love to stay here again.

My family enjoyed staying at this beautiful and charming house located on well maintained farmland with ponds for canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing. We loved visiting and feeding carrots to the neighbor’s horses and relaxing on the comfortable porch while taking in the gorgeous view of the sunset/rise across the landscape. With hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, and beach close by there was plenty to do. We would highly recommend this property as it was clean, comfortable, and offered something for everyone.

This is such a wonderful place to relax and get away from stress - picture perfect and very comfortable. This year I was recuperating so spent lots of time on the deep porch reading and watching the nature around me. The couch is perfect for naps or watching the rain come down. It's conveniently located near Brandon, and not far from Rutland and Middlebury for quick trips for groceries, shopping, and restaurants. Branbury State Park/Lake Dunmore is a short drive away for a day at the lake. The house is comfortable and well appointed. Four bedrooms and three baths accommodate everyone nicely, the kitchen is a dream to cook in, and two family rooms (each with a TV) provide plenty of space for all. The A/C units were working overtime this year with the unusual extreme heat. Sherry is marvelous to work with and has a vast knowledge of the area, She checks in occasionally to make sure all is going well and to answer any questions you may have. She also provides detailed notes and recommendations for you upon arrival.

My wife and I spent five lovely days at Sherry’s fabulous Vermont getaway in my old home town of Brandon. The grounds were beautiful and we spent hours just sitting on the comfortable porch and admiring the scenery and watching the barn swallows nesting above us. My brother visited from Rhode Island for a few days and discovered that the property was where he had spent 4-5 summers at a boys camp run by the original owners of the property back in the 50s. What an idyllic retreat!

We had a wonderful time with our adult children and parents staying at Sherry’s lovely, clean & well stocked home. Everything from easy communication, good wifi, comfy beds to the experience of sitting on the back porch with a front row seat to natures symphony was incredible. It was a perfect spot to spend quality time as a family!
