New Harmony, Utah
“The Mercantile” is a farmhouse style home on Morning Line Ranch, which sits on 30 acres in New Harmony, UT. The setting this structure occupies makes it feel like a western movie set with an old town feel. The environment around the “Mercantile” is absolutely breathtaking. The Kolob Fingers and Pine Valley Mountains circle the Mercantile making it a peaceful, out of the way excursion. This unique 2 bed, 2 bath farmhouse has a full functioning kitchen to provide the comforts of home.
Exactly what we hoped for and imagined. Mercantile had an updated feel with an old-timey vibe.
By far the most unique place I have ever stayed at. Overwhelming how nice. Didn’t want to leave and ready to go back!!!
Loved this place! Liked that it was away from all the hustle of the city and got to enjoy nature. The only thing I wish they had was a microwave.
Gorgeous scenery and the house was nice. This is a working ranch though so if you are looking for quiet and to be without people this might not be the place. There were several ranch hands working and using backhoes and other vehicles throughout our stay. Owner might want to clearly state this on the listing. The 30+ acres are not all available to use. Owners should invest in blinds or better curtains as we had teen girls with us and cars coming and going at 3 am shining their lights through the windows. Beautiful property just not quite the solitude we were looking for.
We loved being out of the crowds and traffic. Fun property, allowed dogs.
Very nice property. One hour from Zion, which is what we were there for. Property is located out in the boonies so you have to drive pretty far to get to anything but it is also relaxing and quiet, with beautiful views in every direction. No TV so great to get away from it all and read a book
Nice place, quiet area. If you like horse and cattle ranch living this is a place you might enjoy.
We loved the property and the small town. It was like going back in time and enjoying every minute. The views from the ranch are unbelievable. The bright orange sunrise over Kolob canyon each day could be seen from the bedroom or during a morning walk along the property. We loved the old west setting and a huge ranch to explore. Saw lots of deer and Jack rabbits. It was really a pleasant experience. Easy access to hiking in Kolob canyon or down in Saint George. Great stay overall.
