THE LODGE is a 5 bedroom 1 bath guesthouse (can sleep up to 13 people, 5-8 guests recommended), available for the upstate New York solar eclipse viewing on April 8 2024.
Located in the 85-95% total eclipse range and less than 50 miles from the 95-100% eclipse area, SALO Farm is in the gorgeous Hebron Valley of upstate New York, nestled between the southeast Adirondacks and the Green Mountains of Vermont.
The 32-acre property is on a south-facing hillside with ample open green space for eclipse viewing surrounded by forested land. Located within a 30-45 drive of popular historic towns like Saratoga Springs, Glens Falls, and Lake George, NY, as well as Manchester Center, Rutland and Bennington VT, SALO Farm is a great home base to enjoy the activities and beauty of the area.
Temps in early April can range from 40-60s daytime, 20-40s night. The LODGE is heated by a wood stove on the main floor with passive heat grates for the second floor. Supplemental heat provided by space heaters.
Guests at SALO Farm also have use of the STUDIO (1500 sq ft rehearsal studio w/ heat) and the LAB (200 sq ft workspace), as well as access to app. 2 miles of walking trails, a BBQ pit and bonfire pit.
