We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay for our ski trip! Three families fit comfortable in this gorgeous farmhouse - there was plenty of space in the family and kitchen areas. The homeowners are very responsive and provided everything we needed (and more!) for our stay. It’s a perfect location with just a quick drive to Ludlow center and to Okemo. Thank you, Matt and Jennie, for sharing your home and for your hospitality. We will remember our stay for years to come!
House was lovely and spacious. Warm and well light up. Dinning area has plenty of room for meals and games for the group. Nice lovely fireplace was very cozy. House was very clean and well taken care of. The house has such a calming effect. Very intersecting. Also the beds were clean and very very comfortable. This was a 10 plus experience us and we would recommend this rental to anyone who wants to relax with no worries. We plan on renting again- thanks so much
Matt and Jenni were great hosts! Very responsive to a few quick questions about our stay. We loved having so much space for our family and friends - Two very large living spaces in addition to an open concept kitchen which we loved! Less than ten minutes to Okemo mountain for those who spent the weekend skiing. We will certainly stay again as we make annual trips up north for the ski season!
The house is hundreds of years old and thus, has some neat features (e.g., old wood beams) and character; however, the bathrooms are old and need to be updated and the two bunk rooms are very tight quarters. The biggest challenge was the lack of bureau and closet space and the kids counted only 7 light bulbs across the 4 upstairs bedroom-so bring a head lamp if you want to read! There was also only a few chairs in a the second large living room and no coffee table in the main living room-in sum, there is an overall shortage of furniture. The house is up some steep roads and on a dirt road, so a 4-wheel drive vehicle is def recommended.
Perfect house for a family winter vacation. Perfect great room to all to gather. The only sad part was the light snow fall started right as we were leaving.
We had a great time at the house with my kids and their grandparents. The house is spacious and worked well for our ski trip. Owners were responsive to questions. Master bedroom is huge and on the ground floor. It’s separate from all the other bedrooms that are on the second floor. The steps to go upstairs are very steep, but there are gates for kids and a railing.
