The house was very welcoming and decorated inside & out for Christmas, which we loved! The house was very well organized and had everything we needed. We liked the isolated location but still just a short ride into Skaneateles. Great spot any time of the year!
Wow!!! The host Rachel is absolutely amazing! Her communication and willingness to make sure we had the best VRBO experience possible. Her place is adorable and well stocked with snacks, coffee, condiments and basic cooking supplies is the best we’ve ever experienced. We can’t wait to come back to visit family and utilize this beautiful home again. Reserve this wonderful property while you can
We wanted a nice place away from it all while attending our son’s graduation from Syracuse University. The place was close enough to Syracuse to go back and forth. The house is lovely, and the host is extremely responsive, friendly, and takes pride in her home. The place is very well stocked and comfortable. I would recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay here. Had an issue with a.c. But Rachel was on it immediately and it was fixed as soon as was possible. Loved the layout of the house! It has lots of personality!!
This property is very, very peaceful and private. The views from the extensive back/side yard as the sun sets are incredible. Great flow in the downstairs area for gatherings. There were just two of us, but it's an excellent layout for a dinner party! Very close to Skaneateles Village and the Lake. VERY comfy Master Suite bed! Lots of cute little details and art (esp. for fans of Hemingway:). We were booked to stay in another VRBO (through Evolve) home and when I got the check-in details was informed that the water wasn't drinkable and that they provide you with a case of water. What the #%#!? The owner of this house let us stay there a couple of extra nights, instead of having to go somewhere with no usable water. She was so sweet and funny about it, and even went to the trouble of rescheduling her cleaners so we could stay. It's become rare to experience that sort of kindness, and concern. Thank you:)
