Stayed Jul 23, 2022We enjoyed the pool and gardens very much. Making lots of lemonade, relaxing in the garden and swimming in the pool. We were lucky that Maria brought us vegetables from her garden. The house is very historic and interesting. Kitchen well-appointed. It was very hot in our stay so we were not able to go on many walks, although it was possible to walk into the valley and up onto the hill behind. The main road is busy to walk on and not very pleasant. JetSet does good coffee, drinks and ice creams and is a few minutes away. Our host was always available to answer questions. Great bakery, butchers and fish shop in Penha Longa and a small supermarket.
