Boolambayte, New South Wales
If Fingal Farm is booked out when you want it, then have a look at our other farm, “Krambach Cabin”. We also have “Fingal Beach House” at Port Stephens and “Fingal Snow” in Jindabyne.
On Fingal Farm you have the 150 acres to yourself and it is close to some great attractions. It has friendly South African Boer goats, alpacas, miniature horses and small Irish Dexter cattle. There are 340 million year old fossils to collect. The terrain is mostly flat country and a creek flows 1km along one boundary. Take nature walks and see the wildlife - birds, wallabies, & goannas.
The house is a small four bedroom cottage with a large covered veranda. It has a main bathroom with bath/shower/toilet, separate second toilet and also an ensuite in the main bedroom. There is a well equipped kitchen- gas cooktop and oven, dishwasher and Aldi coffee pod machine. The lounge room has a comfy leather lounge, is reverse cycled air conditioned and there is a wood fire. There are polished floorboards and ceiling fans throughout. Two bedrooms have Queen beds and one has an air conditioner. Another bedroom has two single beds and one bedroom has bunks and a double bed, also with air conditioning. There is a portacot also available. The house is surrounded by a nice garden in the two acre house paddock. The house has very fast and unlimited internet by Starlink.
You will find books & magazines to read, two TVs and DVD/VCR, Xbox, gas and wood BBQs. There is a table-tennis table, some cricket gear, swing set and a trampoline. We are hoping to build a pool in 2022.
Pets are very welcome and must stay out of the house or the bond may be forefeited due to extra cleaning costs. The "house paddock" is well fenced to keep most dogs in and the large undercover veranda will protect them in bad weather.
Linen is included and the beds will be made up before your arrival.
Our insurance company has advised that we cannot be insured if you want to ride trail bikes, so these are not allowed. There are fire trails nearby if the bikes are registered.
It is located about 2.7 hours drive north of northern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. From Sydney follow the M1 north to Bulahdelah. The farm is 10 mins drive from the town of Bulahdelah and only 5 mins from the Highway.

We had a two night stay at Fingal Farm. The house was perfect for six adults and had everything we could possibly need. Lounging around on the large veranda was perfect. Feeding the animals and fossil hunting in the old quarry was also a lot of fun. About a 30 minute drive and we were at the beautiful Seal Rocks. Rob was quick to reply to any questions we had and was a great host. We hope to be back, maybe for a bit longer next time. Thanks for a great weekend
Great stay for adults and kids alike. Fun and relaxing. Kids had a hoot interacting with the animals! Pizza oven is a fantastic addition. All amenities included inside such as wifi but with country living style.
Wonderful property! Will definitely visit again.
We stayed for 3 nights, which gave us plenty of time to explore some local sights the local quarry, and just around the farm. We loved feeding the animals. We also found the house very homely and comfortable. It was an old fashioned holiday home, which has toys, games, books, great kitchen, gum boots etc. etc.. Also, it is very centrally located, but the farm is well off the main roads, so very private and quiet. Rob was a great host. We hope to go back.
We had a great time. The farm is really peaceful and feeding the animals was a lot of fun. A short, scenic drive to some of the most beautiful beaches in NSW. The house was comfortable and clean.
Amazing little farm! Our 3 kids had a ball feeding the animals and looking for fossils in the quarry. Short drive to Seal Rocks for a dip in the oven was great and plenty of trails to explore. The accommodation is great, we are a family of 5 and we have plenty of space. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Contact from the owners was amazing. We will be back!
We love fingal farm. The kids love feeding the animals and roaming the beautiful property. Rob is an excellent host. I think this was our 6th visit. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend ?
We loved the verandah and it’s views, everything in house was very well appointed by thoughtful hosts. Loved feeding the cows, goats and miniature horses. Google TV and wifi works perfectly. Very convenient location to nearby shops even though you have the run of 150 acres.
We had a wonderful time with the kids staying at Fingal Farm, feeding the friendly animals, finding fossils and playing amongst the beautiful bush land setting. We stayed for three days and didn’t leave the farm as there was so much to do! The house was very spacious and comfortable with a huge verandah to sit and play on. We didn’t want to leave and hope to get back again soon!
Beautiful area, great house and so well-set up for an easy holiday. Fantastic wrap-round veranda perfect for lounging and with gates to keep your dog in at night. Great fun feeding the animals with the kids and sloshing around in the la nina mud. Gumboots and raincoats all provided. Kitchen with everything you need and some. So close to a number of coastal adventures as well as Buladelah, Taree and Foster. Hard to go home.
