We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Cabaca house, QSF! From the moment we arrived and were greeted by Eduardo we felt welcome and comfortable. A tour of the grounds to meet his animal and bird friends was very memorable. What a menagerie of pets they have! We later spent some time getting to know the goats lambs and ostriches while relaxing by the pool. Our accommodations were very well designed with modern materials and furnishings , bright clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed which allowed us to cook our own meals instead of going to a restaurant . Grocery store is with a 5 minute drive! The delivery of a breakfast basket each morning was a welcomed treat- fresh eggs, bread, cheese fruit , juice, milk and condiments. Day 1 We lounged by the pool soaking up the sun then spent the afternoon and evening exploring the old town Evora. (Tip for future travellers- it’s best to get reservations at popular restaurants) Day 2-We visited Monsaraz - a beautiful hill town and had an amazing lunch at Taverna Os Templarios while enjoying the view. All in all, a wonderful experience with one minor comment- there was only one wine glass in our kitchen?… but we survived! Would definitely recommend a stay here .
