Spanish Village, is a subdivision in east Boca Raton, Florida of single family homes. The Spanish Village subdivision sits just east NW 4 Ave, and a few blocks North of Palmetto Park Road. Spanish Village's eastern boundary is the rail road tracks and Dixie Highway. Most of the homes built in Spanish Village were constructed in the 1950's and 1960's with a few in 1920's. The majority of the homes were built of concrete block, and consisted of 2 to 4 bedroom designs with garages or carports, and marketed as inexpensive homes in Boca Raton. With the limited availability of economical homes in the eastern part of the city, these home have tripled in price in recent years. Many investors are coming into the area and either raising the existing older homes are doing major remodeling. The majority of homes are single story "ranch" style homes and all of them are on dry lots. Spanish Village is within walking distance to Mizner Park, the Boca Raton Public Library and the Boca Raton Police Department. Spanish Village is a short bike ride to beach.
