This lovely cottage provides a warm welcome from the moment you step through the door - A perfect place for families, friends or couples to enjoy a relaxing break together in a peaceful rural setting. The interior is enriched with many exposed stone walls and traditionally made oak ledge and brace doors. It is self-contained and has oil-fired central heating and double glazing throughout. The cottage has its own attractive landscaped terraced garden nestling into the hill behind with patio & garden table through french windows from the sitting room. On one of the upper terraces sits a gorgeous wood fired hot tub available for hire giving lovely views across the surrounding countryside, a perfect spot to sit back and relax.brbrAttractively presented throughout, the entrance hall has a table and leads to the open plan fitted kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob & oven. Knighton is our nearest town approx 10 miles away where there is a range of shops and eateries. The thriving towns of Newtown and Welshpool are a short drive away, as is the fascinating historic town of Montgomery, or cross over the border into Shropshire to explore the many market towns and areas of outstanding natural beauty. A day trip to the Snowdonia National Park in the north, or Brecon Beacons in the south is also possible. Ideally placed for exploring Mid Wales and Shropshire. We are surrounded by beautiful Welsh countryside yet right on the English border, and have all the ingredients for a perfect holiday for friends and family all year round.brbrPerfect for staying put and relaxing, if you enjoy fell-walking there is no need to get the car out. But if seeing the sights is more your thing then we are well situated for visiting both north and south wales and the Cardigan bay is only an hour and a half away. We are equidistant from Snowdonia in the north and the Brecon Beacons in the south.
