2 x Victorian houses located side by side on the seafront of the picturesque coastal town of Criccieth, North Wales. brbrSleeps 38.br(Glan y Mor sleeps 20 & Bay View sleeps 18)brbrBoth houses have attained a 'Visit Wales' quality grading of five stars.brbrFantastic, uninterrupted sea & mountain views (& sound of the sea) can be enjoyed from both houses.brbrTogether, the houses provide an excellent quality of accommodation for a maximum of 38 people (plus 4 cots) in a total of 15 en-suite bedrooms.brbrThe 15 bedrooms comprise: 6 twin rooms, 3 kingsize rooms, 2 doubles and 4 family suites. Each family suite comprises 2 interconnecting rooms, one with a king size bed and the other a set of bunk beds. The 4 family suites benefit from superb sea views. All bedrooms have en suite facilities.brbrEach house has a fantastic, sociable kitchen/diner with seating for 18-20, plus all the mod cons that one would expect. Sea views can be enjoyed from the kitchen/diners.brbrThe sea views can also be enjoyed from the bay window of the huge first floor formal lounges. Each lounge provides seating for 18 and a 51 flat screen TV. Bay View also boasts a log burner.brbrA second sitting room is located on the ground floor of both houses. These rooms have a games console, TV, DVD & pool table.brbrEach house also has a ground floor WC & utility room. Bay View has an undercover store for bikes.brbrBay View and Glan y Mor are located directly on the seafront in beautiful Criccieth.brbrCriccieth is located to the east of the popular Llyn Peninsular and adjacent west of the Snowdonia National Park.brbrThis pretty unspoilt small town has retained its Victorian charm with colourful terraced houses and hotels fronting onto two beaches which are divided by a stony outcrop which houses the impressive Criccieth castle.brbrAmenities in Criccieth include a wide variety of tasteful shops, tea rooms, restaurants, pubs and galleries. There is also a great park in Criccieth with children’s play area, bowls, football field, pitch and putt and nature reserve.brbrAccess to Criccieth beach is directly opposite Bay View and Glan y Mor. Several other beautiful beaches are within easy walking distance along the well maintained Wales coastal path which can be joined directly outside the house. As well as being the largest National Park in Wales, Snowdonia boasts the highest mountain in Wales, and the largest natural lake in Wales, as well as a wealth of picturesque villages like Beddgelert (11 miles).brbrSnowdonia is renowned for being a very special place for walkers with mountain peaks, lakes, forests, rivers and coastal areas. It is surrounded by 145 acres of sub-tropical woodlands and miles of sandy beaches. Porthmadog is rich in maritime history and in times gone by, it was a vital, busy shipping port for the international slate trade, brought down from Blaenau Ffestiniog. Criccieth is a quiet, family-orientated holiday village. Bay View and Glan y Mor are terraced properties in a village setting with neighbours on either side. All our guests must be considerate to our neighbours in terms of their privacy and enjoyment of the peaceful nature of the locality. On a similar note, the front patios cannot be used to congregate in large groups for drinking etc.
