The apartment comes fully equipped with everything needed for great stay, including a high quality queen size bed, a fully stocked kitchen, safe, and SmartTV.brThis building was made for short term rentals and comes with all the top requested amenities such as 24/7 security, elevators, free parking, swimming pool.brbrThe Space:brThis is a newly built (Jan 2024) 1-bed / 1-bath apartment with a private balcony. It is located in one of the best short term rental buildings that Cali has to offer, a brand new project called Riomaggiore in the Santa Teresita neighborhood. brbrThe total size of the space including the balcony is 49 m2 / 527 sqft.brbrThe bedroom has a nice queen size bed and direct access to the balcony. It has air conditioning and a SmartTV that connects to all the streaming apps and DirecTV. There is also a blackout screen to keep sunlight out and assure a good night's sleep.brbrThe couch in the living room is a sleeper couch and can fit 2 kids comfortably or 1 adult. brbrThe balcony is generous in size and is the perfect place to soak in the warm Cali climate, read a book or enjoy the company of someone you like over snacks and drinks.brbrThe kitchen is fully outfitted including fridge, oven, stove, blender and cooking utensils.brbrThere is a safe for your personal belongings and an iron plus ironing board available.brbrThe WiFi is a 200 MB fiber optic connection with access to ethernet ports.brbrFinally, there's an in-unit washer and dryer (2-in-1 machine) at your disposal. It's located in the closet in the hallway.brbrWe have free parking on site in the basement with elevator access.brbrCleaning can be offered during your stay and comes at an additional cost.brbrThe pool is on the 4th floor of the building. Pool hours are 9 am to 9 pm. The pool is closed for maintenance on Mondays. If Monday is a holiday, then it will be closed on Tuesdays.brbrThe building has an electric backup generator and a water reserve tank making sure you will not be without basic utilities.brbrGuest Access:brOnce you rent the apartment, the whole place is yours. You are welcome to have people visit you but please respect the house rules at all times and remember that all guests must be registered with the building's security guard.brbrBuilding visitor policy:brAll visitors must be registered with the building security at the front desk. Up to 2 visitors are permitted per reservation and must vacate the building by 11 pm. Visitors are not allowed to use the building common areas such as pool, steam bath, sauna or gym.brbrThe Neighborhood:brThe Santa Teresita residential neighborhood is located in one of the best parts of town near the Cali Zoo and bordering the El Peñon hotel and gastronomic zone. brbrWithin a few blocks you will find the Super A supermarket with the Baraka Ancestral Bakery on top. Also nearby is the El Molino is a another local favorite, the El Molino Bakery and Calathea Ice Cream shop. brbrCrepes and Waffles is the perfect family restaurant and just two blocks away by the Hampton by Hilton hotel. brbrThe Tertulia museum and Cali's famous Cat parks are only 10 minute walk from the building and once you make it there you might as well keep following the river to the Boulevard and the beautiful Ermita church. brbrColonial San Antonio is located behind the hotel Intercontinental. In conclusion, there's plenty of things of interest to keep busy for days in this part of town.brbrGetting Around:brDuring the day, I suggest walking wherever possible. Enjoy the warm, eternal summer climate. Get to know the city. Explore! brIf you're going further, then there are more than 20.000 taxis in Cali and they are very affordable. Minimum fare starts at 4.000 pesos. Uber, Cabify, Beat, WayCali and Didi are other similar services. Busses are plentiful but then to get very crowded. brbrAt night, best to use a taxi / Uber / Didi.brbrOther Things to Note:brRegistration:brAccording to Colombian law, a photo ID must be presented for each person staying at the property. To complete this registration, we send a link where you can upload all the information mentioned above. A signed rental contract is also required before entering. You can complete it through the same link that is sent as soon as the reservation is confirmed.brbrPlease note the apartment is in a residential building called Riomaggiore City Tower with security at the reception. We only operate the apartment, we do not administrate the building. The building requires a registration process separate from ours to gain access. You have to announce your group at the reception first and present identification. brbrFor first time guests in Riomaggiore, the reception will have to add a picture profile of each person into their system. Similar to a gym or club membership.brbrAfter your arrival, your group may be asked again to identify themselves at the reception if they step in and out of the building. We recommend to have identification on you at all times.brbrMedical tourists:brPlease inform If you are getting any medical procedure done while staying at our property. Damages to bedsheets and towels will be charged.br brbrAirport pick-ups:brLet us know if you need help with airport transportation. We work with several top rated drivers and would be happy to arrange. They will wait for you, help with luggage and allow for one 15-minute stop on the way to a supermarket, ATM, etc. They know the exact location of the property making sure you won’t get lost.brbrFactura electrónica:brWe issue a legal electronic invoice for the amount monetized in Colombia (after VRBO commissions). This complies with all the local regulation if you need to deduct your stay as a business expense.brbrInterruption in utilities:brThis is the tropics and utilities such as electricity, water supply, and internet can experience interruptions from time to time. These potential situations are completely out of our control and are not cause for any refund.
