The property is set over 3 floors with 2 of the three bedrooms enjoying breathtaking and uninterrupted views across the Adriatic Sea. The property comes with 2 bathrooms both equipped with power showers. Illyria is fully air conditioned throughout and satellite TV is available. Please bear in mind that we do need to change the furniture from time to time because the sea air does take its toll so individual furnishings may not look identical to the photos.brThe property has a large terrace with BBQ - you can fish from the terrace and then pop your catch right on your own fire. Illyria is within a short walk of the local amenities including the many fine restaurants and pubs of Postira and the immediate vicinity. Guests may use the gym, spa (incl. manicurist) and sauna/solarium/internet facilities of a nearby hotel for a charge.brThe island of Brac is only a 45 min ferry journey from Split which is directly served by an international airport. In the summer months, ferry departures from Split are very frequent i.e. every hour approx. Villa Rustica is a tastefully renovated charming old stone cottage located just 50 m from a pebbly beach and in a quiet neighbourhood that makes it an ideal destination for a relaxing holiday. brbrIt is located in the heart of the old town of Postira which is a quaint fishing village on the north coast of Brac, it is 500 m from the restaurants and cafe bars on the harbour.brbrIt comprises a little 2-storey house and a separate 1-bedroom apartment. Enclosed in old stone walls the house and courtyard ensure complete privacy. There are 2 outside dining areas in the courtyard. brbrYou enter the main house into the living room with its antique furniture and original old stone walls. From the living room are stairs to the upper floor where you find a sleeping area for 2. From this area is the main double bedroom. Half way back down the stairs is the shower room. The fully equipped kitchen is off the living room. Outside is a large area for dining. brbrJust a few steps from the main house entrance is the apartment front door which is accessed off its own terrace. Again the old stone walls have been exposed and renovated giving it a very charming look. You enter into the living/dining/kitchen room with its sofabed and off this is the double bedroom and shower room. brbrAccess to the property is from a quiet street. brbrVilla Rustica has a private parking in front of the house but only for smaller cars drivers because access road is narrow and twisted. So we recommend parking your car on the free parking lots on the main road by the sea which are approx 50 -150 m from the house in both directions. brbrGetting to Brac: Take the car ferry from Split harbour. Split harbour is 20 kilometres from Split airport. The crossing takes about 50 minutes. brbrYou can book your ferry tickets on the ferry line website or buy them at the ticket office on arrival.brIf you book online you have to enter a ferry time but the tickets are valid for any ferry on the day. For Supetar you can't book a place for your car on a specific ferry. brbrThe cost of a one-way ferry ticket for a car up to 5m in length is 26,10 Euros. Adult tickets are 6,50 Euros, children between 3-12 years old pay 3,20 Euros. Children under 3 years old travel for free.brbrDirections to the house: You will check in at the house using the key safe.
