Among oaks, chestnut, apple and olive trees, the old cottages of “La Gisamìa” are only 8 minutes car away from the centre of Petralia Sottana, the medieval village, head office of the 'Parco delle Madonie', which with its cathedral, its stonehouses and its paving ways, offers a still authentic example of old sicilians architecture. Ideal starting-point for hikes in the mountains and for visiting the other wonderful villages of the Park (Petralia Soprana, Polizzi Generosa, Geraci Siculo, Gangi, Castelbuono, Isnello), the cottages are in a private property of some hectares, peaceful and isolated. brbrCozy and homely, the House of the Pear Tree suits for four guests. The groundfloor consists of an open living room with kitchen, table, chairs and sofa and also two single beds in a corner aside. There is also a fully equipped bath with shower, bathtub, two sinks and a bidet. On a spacious mezzanine is a double bed. The house provides all conveniences (wood stove, tv sat hd, cd player, kettle, hairdryer, wifi, etc.). brbrFrom Petralia, one hour and half driving, is possible to reach Cefalù and the sea of the northern coast of Sicily, a part from Palermo, Agrigento, Catania and Etna.
