Kleines Vulkaneifelhaus by Interhome

Berlingen, Berlingen, Germany

Size of property: 4000m².brThe holiday home is a hideaway. It offers a retreat that is introverted from the world and at the same time stages the spectacular view of the valley for its inhabitants.brbrAn entrance on the hillside opens up to the living and dining room with kitchenette. This high-ceilinged room opens up to the rising roof and exudes generosity. The rising roof and the large ribbon window give the living space a strong focus on the view of the valley. The living area with its high ceilings leads into the fireplace room. This area occupies the inner corner of the house and is the most intimate part of the room sequence. With its greatly reduced ceiling height and the closed two-sided rear wall, the room offers a sheltered corner from whose built-in sofas both the open fire in the inner corner and the view of the valley can be viewed.br The sequence of rooms continues from the fireplace room into the sleeping area. There, the ceiling opens up again to below the lower roof. The bedroom is also connected to the terrace through the continuous ribbon window; from the bed you have a view of the valley. The sleeping area is part of the open-plan room sequence, but can also be partitioned off as a separate room using a sliding door. The corner fireplace acts as a buffer between the living area and the bedroom.brbrThe hideaway is situated on a steep slope. As a small wooden house, it rests on a compact stone base, around which the mountain meadow spreads out. The polygonal base of the house is spanned by a gabled roof, which is pulled far down on the slope and access sides. From these sides, the house ducks down low; its volume could be interpreted as an agricultural building.brbr On the side of the valley that is not visible, however, a different picture emerges. The polygonal roof rises towards the valley and opens up into a generous gable. The geometry of the house forms an obtuse-angled inner corner on this side. This area, which is completely shielded from view, is occupied by a cantilevered terrace in front of the living area and offers a spectacular vantage point into the dramatic expanse of the landscape.brbr The house opens up to the hidden south side with a generous, floor-to-ceiling ribbon window that traces the polygonal development of the building and offers a spectacular view of the valley.brbrThe archaic drama of the small hideaway in the landscape is also reflected in the materials used: the compact plinth is made of exposed concrete with a raw board shell surface.brbrThe wooden house on top is clad with raw wooden planks in inverted panelling. This wood is carbonised, i.e. the surface has been flamed until the top layer forms black charcoal - a rough and archaic treatment that stops the weathering process of the wood. As in a charcoal burner's hut, the chimney of the central fireplace forms the vertical end of the gable - it too is clad in black wood. brbrInside, the archaic materialisation continues in a refined form: a continuous floor covering with polygonal slabs of split greenish shimmering quartzite runs through the continuum of all room areas. The white interior walls in the upper area are intimised at user level by warm wood panelling. A few select colour and material accents complete the picture.brbrBrief descriptionbrOther : Non-smoking housebrbrBrief description 1brNumber of kitchens : 1brbrKitchen 1brOther kitchen equipment : High-quality kitchen equipment (knives, crockery, cooking pots, etc.)brbrSurroundingsbrSports facilities in the surrounding area : Mountain biking, cycling toursbrbrGarden and outdoor facilitiesbrGarden equipment : Garden furniture availablebrbrBasic informationbr- Pets allowed: nonebr- size of property: 4000 m²br- Year of the last complete renovation : 2019br- detached housebr- non-smokingbr- Number of bedrooms: 1br- Number of bathrooms: 1brbrTop features br- WiFibr- heating: Everywherebr- underfloor heating: Everywherebr- Total of private car parking spaces: 1br- ㄴ of which garage spaces: Nonebr- ㄴ of which carport spaces: Nonebr- ㄴ of which private outdoor parking spaces: 1brbrSleepingbrbedroom 2br - double bed (from 1.51 m to 1.79 m width)br - bedroom is dimmablebrin the living areabr - double bed (1.80 m width)brbrBathroombrbathroom 2br - showerbr - basinbr - toiletbr - hair dryerbr - daylightbrbrCooking/Livingbr- coffee machine: espresso coffee potbr- fridge/freezer: fridgebr- stove: electric stove, stovebr- ovenbr- toasterbr- microwavebr- electric kettlebr- dishwasherbr- number of dining tables: 1br- number of seats: 2br- number of living rooms: 1br- living room is dimmablebrbrEntertainmentbr- TV: TVbr- music systembr- radiobrbrUtilitybr- vaccum cleanerbrbrSurroundingsbr- view: sea/lake, garden, forrest, lawnbr- Grocery store: 7,0 kmbr- restaurant: 7,0 kmbr- train station: 17,0 kmbr- airport: 50,0 kmbr- motorway: 12,0 kmbr- lake: 7,0 kmbrbrDistinctive featuresbr- located in the middle of the countrysidebrbrbrbrIncluded in price:brBed linen (initial supply)brERV cancellation insurancebrPower costsbrFinal cleaning (Basic cleaning is always carried out by the guest)brLocal taxbrInterhome plants 100'000 m2 of flowering fields to save the beesbrTowels (initial supply)brbr #DE5527.605.1

Moderner Holzhausneubau in der Eifel by Interhome

Berlingen, Berlingen, Germany

Type of building: Detached house. size of property: 4000m². year of construction: 2015.brThe 106 m2 house offers a large living/dining area on two levels with an open, well-equipped kitchen and balcony as well as a panoramic window with a spectacular view of the valley of the Little Kyll. brbrTwo bedrooms with double beds and adjoining bathrooms and an additional living room on the garden level with terrace offer sophisticated comfort.brbrChildren can set up a separate play area on the gallery, or the room can be used as a small study or reading room.brbrThe 4,000 m2 orchard is left in its natural state and creates a seamless transition to the surrounding forest and meadows.brbrArchitecturebrThe internal topography of the house is developed from its location on a south-facing slope: all rooms are separated from each other by slight level offsets, from the entrance you spiral upwards around the central fireplace into the living room, the dining area with kitchen, a bedroom and finally onto the gallery, from which the view falls back into the high living room. Going downwards in the opposite direction, you reach the second bedroom and the garden room with a further outside access on the valley side.brbrBetween the seven levels and the sloping roof, a charming spatial modulation of narrowing and widening, intimate and wide-opening spaces is created. Each room area thus develops its own specific atmosphere, while views into the neighbouring room areas allow the spatial flow of the three-dimensional enfilade to be felt. Large windows frame the view of the unspoilt valley and the wooded hills opposite.brbrBrief descriptionbrOther : Non-smoking housebrbrBrief description 1brNumber of kitchens : 1brOther rooms : Cellar and storeroombrbrLiving room 1brOther living room equipment : combined living-dining area with open gable (room height up to 5 m)brbrKitchen 1brOther kitchen equipment : combined living-dining area on 2 levels with open gable (room height up to 5 m)brbrSurroundingsbrSports facilities in the surrounding area : mountain biking, cycle toursbrbrSurroundings 1brExcursions : Schutz and surrounding area: In the village itself, the Burberg with its wild rock formations at the top and the remains of Roman settlements is a must walk. Otherwise, there are wonderful hiking and cycling opportunities in all directions directly from the house, even without a fixed route, and there is a large playground with a meadow for children in the village. The Nerother Kopf with the high old beech forest and the Freudenkoppe castle ruins is a mystical experience, especially in foggy weather.
