The accesses are good; from the paved road to the Azenha there is a dirt track with about 200m.brDuring summer, apart from the pleasure you can enjoy by being by a stream, a removable swimming pool of about 4mX2mx1,20m is installed.brIn the area where the house is located, the mobile network available is Vodafone, with a 100% signal; if you are a foreign traveler you should check if your operator is a Vodafone network partner. brHerdade das Coutadas with 30Ha was once a self-contained farm where daily bread, goat's milk cheese and pork and mutton sausages were made and where many workers lived.brToday, these houses are transformed into comfortable apartments decorated in a country style to accommodate tourists who want to come and spend their holidays in the region. brIn total there are in the farm 5 houses for rent, all autonomous and in complete privacy. The houses are in excellent condition due to the renovations.brWhen a house is rented it is by its totally independent total space with fully equipped kitchen, bedrooms, living rooms and bathrooms. brAll the houses have a garden table and chairs outside on furnished patios so that you can take your meals when the weather permits. brIf you want to come in large groups or more than a family you can occupy all or part of the farm and thus be all together in the common areas but each in his house. brThe swimming pool which has a very large surrounding space is to be shared with all the houses, but it has chairs and shadows specific to each house so that everyone can share the space.brAll in all, the houses are very pleasant and comfortable and relaxed with the advantage that they are located in the middle of the peaceful countryside and are only 10 minutes from the city center of Portalegre, with its fantastic medieval castle overlooking the city.brAbout five minutes from the farm you have 5 large supermarkets (Leclerc, Intermarché where you can do all your shopping.brThis region of Portugal of unique and rare beauty is located on the borders of Spain with many tourist sites to visit (Marvão, Castelo de Vide, Alter do Chão, Évora) is a guarantee for a fantastic family vacation. brChildren will love it because not only do they have a lot of space to play but they also have contact with nature and the animals that live on the farm (horses, sheep, cats and small kittens)

Monte da Tarouca is a family home that has been a holiday home for almost 20 years. It has created a passionate house for a winners' house (named after the Alentejo farm workers), an unforgettable place to spend great weekends and a well deserved vacation!Mount Tarouca, has a typical rustic house and Alentejo, the main house. The living room, part that most characterizes this house, is extremely fantastic, with an exit to the pool and the porch, an Alentejo fireplace and a library. Some of the rooms offer a direct exit to the swimming pool, enjoying an exceptional view that reaches the village of Crato. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils to prepare meals and is equipped with all the appliances necessary for your stay. brThis house has a bedroom with double bed and bathroom, a bedroom with two single beds, a bedroom with a single bed and a bathroom to support the latter two.brAlready in the complementary house, dubbed the Don Carlos hall, we can find a room and Kitchenette together, and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds, both supported by a private bathroom.brOutside, in addition to the 12 hectares of property, where you can enjoy the pure nature and take a walk, we also have a porch where you can dine, either at dawn or in the company of a fantastic sunset. Mount Tarouca has a magnificent swimming pool to cool off in the hottest days, a tennis court for sports and for those who are nature lovers, some farm animals, including horses and a riding ring for them.
