There are lovely walks along the towpath of the Oxford Canal which can be joined in Cropredy, alternatively hook up with the Jurassic way or the Battlefields Trail.brbrOr just stay put and relax, take in the views, soak under the stars in your hot tub or cook something delicious on the fire pit or barbecue. You may catch a glimpse of our resident hares and wild fallow deer and for any ornithologists there is plenty of bird life.brbrEverything has been carefully considered and beautifully designed to help our guests slow down and switch off. Both have electricity and hot water - think tiny hotel room in the wild. brbrHere is what to expect in your cabin:brA double ottoman bed with storage underneath; crisp cotton bed linen, feather duvets and pillows; a double sofa bed, comfy as a sofa or can be pulled out to sleep 2 more at a squeeze; stylish table lamps; en-suite shower and loo, fully equipped kitchenette with two electric hobs; a good sized fridge, a small table with tuck in stools and a wood burning stove. You will also find ordnance survey maps giving the local footpaths and bridleways, playing cards, books and a backgammon set.brbrOutside you will find:brA large area of decking; a wood-fired hot tub, outdoor table and chairs; a small gas barbecue; a fire pit and deck chairs. All crockery, cooking utensils, pots and pans are provided. We provide a generous starter pack of fire wood and fire lighters, extra wood can be purchased.brbrFood Hampers and Local PubsbrWe provide a variety of food hampers for breakfast and barbecuing. All ingredients are fresh and locally sourced from the farm shop at Warmington. Eggs are from our own free range chickens. Homemade cakes are also available, all orders for hampers or cakes must be made at least three days before your visit.brbrAlternatively here are some suggestions of local pubs/restaurants:brThe Brazenose Arms in Cropredy, this is a 20-25 minute walk via the public footpath that can be picked up on our farm. Other local pubs include The Castle at Edge Hill, The Falcon at Warmington, The George and Dragon at Chacombe, or The Bell at Ladbroke.brbrBeing on the edge of the Cotswolds there are plenty of lovely villages and towns to visit: Stow on the Wold, Burford, Chipping Campden, Chipping Norton are a few of many. Please ensure you review the Pet section under 'Other things to note' before booking with your pet to ensure a comfortable stay for all.brbrAdditionally, a travel cot and high chair are available for an extra cost, ensuring a stress-free stay for younger families.brbrGuests have full use of the annexe and private outdoor space from the metal entrance gate up to the fence beside the annexe (I will require very occasional access when walking my dogs). There is a wooden gate to access the annexe terrace area which is totally private and for guest use only.brbrThe annexe overlooks part of my private garden which I rarely use. My gardener may be around tending to the beds on Friday mornings during warmer months. However, I will always respect guests' privacy when you are staying here.brbrPlease kindly respect that my property is attached to yours and keep the noise to a minimum.brbrPlease only use indoor shoes inside as there are carpets throughout and Horton stone stains easily.brbrIf you require use of the sofa bed, please let us know at the time of booking to ensure the extra bedding & towels are available.brbrA friendly border terrier and Labrador/Golden Retriever live on-site and might say hello but are not allowed into the annexe or your private outdoor space. Please be advised, one is a breeding dog so no unneutered male dogs allowed.brbrThe outside area from the metal entrance gate to the annexe is for your own private use and is fully enclosed for your furry friends. There is a little-used public footpath at the back of your garden, so occasionally people and dogs may walk through. Please kindly respect others' privacy on the property and do not venture beyond the fenced areas.brbrPlease note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys and £50 for a callout, so please be careful with them.brbrWe welcome up to 2 dogs during your stay.
