Practically in front of the door is the beautiful white sandy beach for dozing and walking. Only 4 km drive and you are in the bustling fishing and ferry port of Hirtshals with a genuine fishing atmosphere, where you can sometimes buy fresh fish directly from a cutter and there are good stores and restaurants. The sport angler will find good fishing waters at the pier or can come aboard one of the fishing cutters for a deep sea fishing trip to e.g. the Yellow Reef. Golfers can enjoy an 18-hole and a 9-hole golf course in a beautiful natural setting near Hirtshals. You can also visit the North Sea Museum, which has impressive aquariums and a seal tank that illustrate the animal and plant life in the North Sea.
