In Quillan, there are various restaurants, cafés, bars and shops and festivals throughout the year. There are numerous beautiful walks near the house and horse riding, cycling, white water sports, châteaux and mountains only 10 minutes drive from Quillan. You can ski 35 minutes from the house in the winter and swim in lakes nearby during the summer. Carcassonne's medieval cite is definitely worth a visit (60 minutes drive), Toulouse (the pink city) is 90 minutes drive away and the very Catalan Perpignan is 60 minutes away (and very close to the Mediterranean beaches)! brOpened in mid-2017 are the two artificial lakes for swimming and fishing five minutes drive north of the house.
