This cozy holiday home in Annerstad, Småland, is located near the lakes Kösen and Bolmen. The house is the perfect starting point for experiencing the Småland nature, for making day trips and enjoying swimming and fishing or traveling to the coastal city of Halmstad. brbr brbrThe holiday house was once an old dwelling from the 19th century. The cottage is now renovated, but we have tried to preserve the original structure from the 1800s. Some rooms therefore have low ceiling heights. It has conveniences such as a washing machine, dishwasher, and wood-burning fireplace in the living room. There is also a wood-burning stove and a tiled stove, but unfortunately they cannot be used and are only there to preserve the old-fashioned feeling. Here you have good conditions for a delightful stay. The owner lives next to the holiday house, but the plots are separated by privacy screening. brbr brbrThe cabin has a small hallway, where you proceed into the living room with a fireplace, sofa bed, and bar table. From the living room, you can access a terrace that is perfect for grilling, having dinner, or simply enjoying the sun. From the terrace, you have a lovely view of beautiful fields with the forest behind. If you're lucky, you might see wild animals on the fields in the evening, such as deer and moose. The terrace is situated in a south/west direction, which means you have sunlight from lunch until sunset. brbr brbrFrom the living room, you enter a fully modern kitchen with dishwasher, refrigerator, and kitchen table. From there, you have access to bedroom 1, which has a double bed. brbrEven the bathroom is connected to the kitchen and there is a washing machine, toilet, wardrobe, shower, and sink. There is also a steep staircase in the kitchen that leads you up to bedroom 2, where there are 2 single beds. brbr brbrThings to see and do in Annerstad and surroundings. Within walking distance from the cottage, you can visit Annerstad Rectory where you can enjoy their wonderful wood-fired Italian pizza, coffee, and shop. From the cottage, there are opportunities for nice walks, and why not visit the old peat bog that is now a nature reserve. In the village of Skeen, located about 3 km from the cottage, there is a Steakhouse and a very nice beach. The nearest city is Ljungby, which is only a 10-minute drive away. Here you have the opportunity for shopping, restaurants, adventure pool, outdoor pool, mini-golf, bowling, disc golf, Sven Ljungberg Museum, fairy tale museum, and much more. brbr brbrIf you take the car, you can visit Elinge Elk Park within 20 minutes. brbrIf you want to see the ruins of a medieval castle from the 14th century, you should visit Piksborg, which is located only 6 km from the cottage. Halmstad, a coastal city, is only 60 km away. If you want to travel by public transport, there is a bus stop within walking distance from the cottage that can take you to both Halmstad and Ljungby.

In wonderfully rural surroundings you will find this cozy cottage. Experience Småland as it should be in this spacious yet wonderfully charming little red cottage. With a lush garden made for children to explore! You are close to a lot with only 25-30 km to places like Ljungby and Markaryd, but at the same time you get the peace of a cottage in the country. About 1200m away you will find Mäen's bathing area, a really cozy bathing area with barbecue area, bathing jetty, changing room and toilets. If you travel with your bikes, it's a really cozy ride through the countryside down to the bathing area, which the owners recommend for a bike ride. Please note that it is not allowed to charge electric cars on the plot. The house has water from its own well. Therefore, be extra frugal with water consumption. The house has a large spacious kitchen and a large living room. There are a total of three bedrooms in the cottage with 2 single beds in each. If desired, there are also 2 extra beds (folding beds that can be used.) Two of the bedrooms are on the upper floor, which has a slightly lower ceiling height and slanted ceiling. This house is perfect for the big family, or maybe the family bringing mother or grandparents or maybe two families traveling together. It would also be perfect for the group that travels and wants to fish in Småland's lovely lakes. If you buy a fishing license in the nearby lake, you can fish in a number of other lakes in the nearby area as well. You can easily buy a fishing license online. There is also the possibility to rent a boat in the same lake, both per day and week, more information and contact information can be found in the guest folder upon arrival. The boat is available between about May 5th and September 30th, if you want to rent the boat after this date please contact us at the service office. There is also a walking trail in the area, so don't miss out on a walk and discover. The path leads to a cozy barbecue area, among other things. Traveling here in the summer and experiencing nature and the lake is lovely. The cabin is also an excellent starting point for those who might want to pick berries and mushrooms, or as previously mentioned want to fish, but also for those who travel to the area for hunting. Beautiful cottage in the middle of nature with barbecue on the property. The cottage is located in Bägaryd, 9 km from Torpa in Ljungby municipality. The nearest lakes are Svartasjö and Vitasjö, otherwise it is only 11 km to Exen, a very nice swimming lake. To Markaryd it is only 30 km, where you can visit Smålandet and watch moose. Gräddhyllan and Stockhultsboden are also nice destinations.brbrIn Traryd, 16 km, you will find Traryds Zoo, which is suitable for small children. To Ljungby it is 34 km. There you will find shopping and stores as well as many museums such as. Sven Ljungberg or Sago Museum. To Älmhult it is 42 km if you want to visit the first Ikea department store and Ikea museum. To Halmstad it is 60 km if you want to swim in the sea one day. In the small community of Skeen, only a stone's throw from a cozy swimming area, is the small cabin. Here you have your own lovely oasis in the lush garden, with the small lake only a little over 40 meters away. From the garden, it is only the embankment that separates you from the swimming area, so about 10 meters from the plot boundary, you are at the swimming area, close but separate! If you want to go on an adventure, you are close to places like Ljungby, approx. 18 km, where there are bathhouses with indoor swimming and outdoor swimming in the summer, shops, restaurants and cafes. A little over 50km if you travel west, you will instead come to Halmstad, with beaches, restaurants and shopping. The cabin consists of two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. In the middle of the house is the kitchen, which is adjacent to the living room, which also contains the dining area. Outside the living room you have the lovely balcony with a dining area where you can eat and hang out. In the kitchen there is also a kettle and a toaster. There is plenty of space in the garden for those who want to spend time there, otherwise, as I said, the swimming area is just over the dike and there are swings, a sandbox, a barbecue area and a bathing jetty.
