Enjoy a drive along the Wild Atlantic Way, the longest defined coastal touring route in the world, which goes through Kilrush. Alternatively, take a ferry to nearby Scattery Island, a 6th century monastic island featuring the ruins of several churches and a unique 10th century round tower.
