There is no lift (elevator).brThe front door opens into the well-equipped kitchen/dining area which has Miele appliances, including Miele washer/dryer with built-in washing liquid cartridges for coloured or white laundry. Heathrow Airport is abr15 minutes journey from Paddington Station via the Heathrow Express. Buses from Paddington Station also run direct services to Gatwick, Stansted and Luton airports. Kensington Palace is approximately 15 minutes walk, and the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Science Museum and the Natural History Museum are all approximately 25 minutes walk, or a short trip from Paddington Station on the Underground. Notting Hill and the famous Portobello Road market are a 25 minute walk, or two stops on the Underground from Paddington. Covent Garden and Soho (Tottenham Court Road Station) is an 8 minute journey on the new Elizabeth Line. Harrods in Knightsbridge is a 30 minute walk across the park, or easily accessed by the Underground.brbrHome truth:br-The Daikin Heat pump is a fully integrated system throughout the home (therefore it cannot simultaneously cool one room and heat another at the same time). The AC units can either cool or heat the air.br-The home has spiral stairs (see photos), which may not be suitable for small children and some guests or overly large suitcases.brbrParking: as is the case everywhere in the UK car parking is controlled by the local Council which for us is Westminster City Council.
