The piano room has a lovely seating area to sit and admire the walls and the city.brNorthgate House is a grade 2 listed building and was built in 1800. Its famous for being built above the original city jail! It's heritage and positioning within the city is outstanding. Its two neighbours are extremely unique, on one side you have the Roman city walls and on the other is the Shropshire union canal. You can see the canal from every window on the north west side of the building. If you look at the windows at the back of the building from the bedroom you can see the hills and mountains of Wales and the canal and all its boats. The front of the building is on Upper Northgate street. There is a piano room with a large bay window which you can sit in admiring one of the roman bridges as part of the city walls with a cup of tea! Some other great features are paintings/ornaments that are over 100 years old placed their by the original settlers. brbrThe property comes with lots of books and trinkets on Chesters history. The building has been in the family for many years and is now open for the public to enjoy. It is THE MOST unique stay in Chester. brbrThe Garden is beautiful with a water feature and a nice sitting area. You can walk above the canal or below the walls.
