Your private home in the Monteverde forest! Close to parks and downtown

We had a great stay! The house, location and views were incredible! The house had everything we needed. We choice to eat dinner at the house every night because of the views and the patio!

This house exceeded our expectations. It was not very difficult to find, especially when you follow Evelyn's map and video. It's just right up the road from downtown, a great location. It was in pristine condition - spotless. The views from the back patio are incredible. Beds were very comfy. We will definitely come back!

Perfect doesn’t even begin to describe how amazing the sun house is! This is, by far, is the best rental we’ve ever stayed in. The house is BEAUTIFUL, thoughtfully laid out, clean as can be, and perfectly equipped. The location was ideal for all of our Monteverde adventures. We definitely appreciated that it was slightly off the beaten path and away from the crowds (a few minutes west of town but very close to the zip line parks and Bosque Nuboso Santa Elena). The deck is truly magical with pristine views of the valley and jungle. Views abound in Monteverde but few compare with the one offered from the deck. The host was amazing to work with and attentive to all of our needs. I really can’t say enough good things about our stay other than we will definitely be back.

Perfect place to stay when visiting Monteverde and ideal for our family of 2 adults and 2 children. The Sun House had absolutely everything we needed and more. The views from the deck are spectacular and we particularly enjoyed listening to the large variety of birds around the property. Location is great with many shops and restaurants just a short drive away. Highly recommended!

Beautiful and comfortable home!

Evelyn was a good host but needs to draw a better map as google did not work very good in Monteverde. (Worked great everywhere else). Even if it is working for you, it’s still confusing as the little access road doesn’t register on maps. The place is almost brand new and with higher end finishes. The kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfortable. The view is amazing if it’s not too cloudy.

Everything was perfect and as described. Comfy, clean house with everything we needed. Beautiful views and wildlife sightings made it even more special.

Great view from the balcony. House was close to town. Google maps took us to a different location and took us a while to find it. The house was clean and well equipped. We appreciated Evelyn’s help in arranging a guide for us. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a great place to stay if you want to be close to the action in Monteverde. We booked it in order to be close to Selvatura park for zip lining. It has a great view and Evelyn was very communicative and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The kids loved waking to the howler monkeys in the morning and watching all of the hummingbirds on the property. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay.The host was very open.Answering our calls whenever we needed anything.The house was extremely clean and cool.Even though there was no air conditioning we never felt like we needed it. Great location. Private but close to restaurants and tons of activities. We would stay again and recommend it to anyone traveling ro the area.

This was my family’s favorite stay in Costa Rica. If we were at the house we were on the back deck. (Beautiful views) Evelyn was the best host. She was quick to answer any questions and give recommendations. Highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. We loved it.

My family of 4 loved this home in Monteverde. Beautiful views, nice and peaceful, lovely stay. Beds were comfy, nice hot showers, plenty of room. We especially enjoyed the balcony in the mornings watching all of the birds. Host was super quick and responsive with any questions I had. Would definitely recommend and stay here again if in the area!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Monteverde, look no further. This is a beautiful home located near town that offers so much. The house was incredibly clean and offered lots of space for our house. Sitting on the patio looking out on the forest never gets old. Finally, Evelyn the host is highly communicative and offers great local tips. Highly recommended!

Evelyn was really nice and personable. She brought us cookware when what was there was damaged. The house is beautiful and the view is amazing. We saw rainbows every morning and beautiful sunsets every evening. It is walkable from town but the walk does have some steep hills. There is construction going on Nextdoor but it didn’t disturb us at all.

Sunset house 1 is beautiful! It has all the comforts of home and is in a great location! The downtown and adventure tours are very close by. Evelyn is very friendly and extremely helpful with advice about local attractions and culture. The farm tour down the street (milking cows) was very interesting. We would highly recommend staying here. It was a highlight of our trip!!

We were a family of four and throughly enjoyed our three days here. Such a lovely place with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The location is close to town and various sites and activities, but also up the hillside enough to be peaceful and restful. Our host, Evelyn, was so great to deal with. Everything was good, only there were building a new house next door

The house is spotless, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. Our host Evelyn met us shortly after we arrived and gave us so much helpful info about the area and activities we could enjoy during our stay. The view of the bay is lovely.
