Stayed Dec 31, 1969After arriving late in the evening after three flights, it was only with the help of the Hertz rental car agent calling Giorgio we were able to locate the house. The GPS in our car didn’t recognize the address. Bless Giorgio, he waited in the very narrow alley for us to check us in. The house was lovely and well equipped, but the beds in the two bedrooms we used were both awful. Springs were popping through. My husband believes we were sleeping on box springs. We did pull the duvet off the third bedroom bed on our last night to pad our bed. Our friends did something similar in their room. The location worked well with a rental car, but for four 70 something adults getting into town and back would be more than challenging.

Stayed Dec 26, 2018Giorgio is a very attentive host and was helpful to us. The house is large for the two of us and could accommodate 4 very well. We rented a car and the location is great for either going into town or driving to other locations on Madeira. Walking would not be easy and maybe difficult to find. The house is on a dead end street so fairly quite, except for some occasional dog barking. I enjoyed being away from the tourist area.
