Stayed Jul 15, 2023We quickly learned there are 3 major Westin properties in Lahaina/Kaanapali and ours alone had two separate lobbies and pools and we had access to all of them with the caveat that our beach towels had to come from our particular Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas North. (The Westin Maui is right at whalers village and Westin Nanea is further north than Resort Villas North from whalers village) The beach had great snorkeling and clean soft sand. A convenient free shuttle brought is to and from Whalers Village. The unit had everything we needed including a large bathroom and full kitchen and all is updated. We had one of the 3 units with the largest patios in the entire property so it seemed and with the most privacy. Check out was a breeze and they stored our belongings and gave us access to a lounge so we could enjoy the pool until the very last minute. The only complaint is that all beach gear needs to be rented, none is available for use by guests and coming from Canada all the food and drinks were expensive; however, making meals in the kitchen really helped us curb this cost. All in all we really enjoyed our stay and found the cost to stay here worth it! We were pleased we chose Kaanapali as our home base!

Stayed Jul 3, 20221. advertise rate with location and dates were different than actual rate, at contracting 2. Room is a locked location and no real way of telling where room is located before booking. 3. Fees, fees and more fees. Understand the VRBO fees and lodging taxes but then more taxes upon checkout for the concierge tax? 4. Non cancelable / refundable - so highly recommended that we buy insurance in todays environment. 5 It felt like I was lured in with a lower rate but then had fees and risk build throughout. 6. Probably won’t do this again.
