Westcott House- Privacy, amenities and space all in one beautiful package!

Everything was just so wonderful and truly met all of our expectations!

Amazing place surrounding beautiful Shenandoah landscape. We enjoyed staying here and love to return.

My husband and I decided to have our wedding here, and it was absolutely amazing! The host was great at communicating as well as very kind. It was the perfect size for our group to stay in and we all felt like we had our own space without being stacked on top of each other, and the outdoors area was just right for our number wedding guest. Be wary of the bugs though, they get absolutely crazy at night and are quite large, but it’s absolutely worth it for the amazing views and gorgeous house. (I attached some pictures of the outdoors space but they’re a bit blurry)

This was just what we needed. We had a family of 30. Included were teens that enjoyed having a separate space and pool table. The upstairs main room was so spacious and the tables were set up like a restaurant. Perfect for meals and mingling. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. We would stay here again.

Our group of 16 women had an incredible stay at Westcott House over Valentine’s Day and President’s Day weekend. This was our second time here, and once again, everything was exceptional! The home is immaculately clean, well-maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The beds, linens, and towels were all high-quality, making for a truly relaxing stay. The amenities were a hit—we loved the fireplaces, hot tub, pool table, and the peaceful, walkable surroundings. The property’s secluded setting provided privacy, yet the WiFi was strong and reliable. Laura’s customer service was outstanding—she was always quick to respond and went above and beyond to accommodate us. Our caterer/chef also raved about the well-stocked kitchen, which had everything she needed and more. Some of our group visited Luray Caverns, just a short drive away, and loved the experience. Whether relaxing at the house or exploring nearby, this property is truly a gem. Thank you, Laura and team, for another fantastic stay! We can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A group of 25 teachers gathered to enjoy professional development and relaxation at the Westcott House. We had a wonderful time relaxing in all of the cozy spots and enjoying the pretty views of the fall leaves. We were glad to see the deck boards replaced from our visit two years ago. Our only complaint this time is how many stubbed toes we went home with from the raised bath mats! The property is wonderful and we hope to return again!

The Westcott house was such a great experience for our family who traveled to Luray, VA. For a family wedding. There was so much space in the house. Clean upon arrival. And had many amenities that I do not remember reading about prior to our trip. ( ice machine) The smaller tables made great tables for a Euchre game and the large table made it perfect for a game of Five Crowns

We are so pleased with our experience from top to bottom! We looked at several venues to have our 1yr anniversary party & Shenandoah Rentals stood apart in terms of customer service, offerings, price, & ease. Laura was incredible, helping answer our questions rapidly (on weekends at times!), setting up a tour, & ensuring we had everything needed to make our stay incredible. We had additional people traveling from out of town & Shenendoah Rentals provided us a listing of their nearby properties that many of our friends rented & raved about. The Westcott house is incredible - spacious (even for our large group) & offered so much to make our trip enjoyable - the large yards were perfect for outdoor games, the fire pit (with wood included!) made the nighttime magical, the poker, ping pong, & pool tables provided entertainment at every turn, & the spacious bedrooms and numerous bathrooms made sure our group was comfortable. Highly recommend for a large event in the beautiful Shenandoah!

PERFECT HOUSE FOR FUN Our big family had a wonderful vacation at the Westcott House. We loved the open spaces in the house, and how sturdy the house was built. Rustic looking, but modern feeling. It was quiet and peaceful. We felt like we were all by ourselves in a beautiful wooded setting with a view of the Blue Ridge Mountains, but we were really minutes away from Luray. World-class kitchen upstairs with all the amenities. Nice touch to have coffee K-cups ready to go in the morning. We all enjoyed the fire pit, the grills right near the picnic tables, and a lovely playground for the little ones to enjoy. The hot tub was an added treat after a day of rafting, tubing, swimming and hiking. Full kitchen downstairs which made it very convenient for entertaining. All of the beds were comfortable with plenty of linens and towels. We would definitely recommend the Westcott House to any group – big or small.

This place is massive, so much space for everyone and perfect areas for gathering, gaming, eating, etc… The outside porches have great views and the grounds are wide and well kept. It’s an older place and it’s been “lived in” so if you want immaculate perfection, this isn’t you. But for a large family or event .. can’t go wrong. 100% will be back again.
