Stayed Jan 14, 2023Our stay at Villa Paraiso was exactly what we hoped for. The villa was beautiful with many areas that offered privacy when we wanted it and communal areas for when we felt sociable. Yolanda did a superb job with the food. Carlos took me to the central market to show me all of the vendors as he was shopping for our meal that day. It was one of the largest markets I have been to. Yolanda and Carlos really made our stay special. The owners of the Villa were so helpful and answered our many questions almost immediately. Their advice and directions were invaluable. We are so happy that we booked Villa Paraiso for our family vacation.

Stayed Mar 3, 2022We would definitely stay here again, the villa was beautiful, perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean and a bird sanctuary. There are three levels to lounge on, each unique and comfortable, and the whole place is clean, comfortable and well maintained. We spent most of our time lounging at the villa, swimming in the pool, abs generally just enjoying our surroundings. The owner, Judith, was extremely helpful and responsive when we had questions, and was happy to set up a ride from the airport to the villa for us. Last but definitely not least, the caretaker, Carlos, and his wife, Yolanda, were amazing!!! They were very patient with my basic Spanish skills, and were the meals Yolanda cooked for us were all amazing! Carlos went to town daily to pick up fresh food and things we needed, and he and Yolanda were so kind and fun to be around! They went out of their way to make my birthday special and by the time I left they felt like family! I will definitely be back and would highly recommend this place!

Stayed Mar 20, 2017I had a lot of fun in this property, Anita and her family where very nice to us but I didn't like that they kept insisting on us giving them tips I found that very rude, and since the lady that would clean the rooms left the person that was cleaning them sometimes wouldn't take out the trash or fill up the water container in the room and the shower was never cleaned in the 8 days I was there and there was a bit of miscommunication since apparently they charge by room and we had to all sleep together so we wouldn't have to pay more. It wasn't a bad experience but I've definitely had better experiences in other homes I've rented thru here before

Stayed Dec 31, 1969My partner and I of 15 years finally tied the knot, We could not be happier with the choice of vacation rentals for that celebration. Villa Paraiso, in beautiful Acapulco, Mexico was a real treat. This Villa has it ALL. The owners, Judith and Eduardo were amazing right from the get go They answered all of questions that we had before we booked. Making sure that we had safe, reliable, and air conditioned transportation from the airport to the villa (for a nominal fee) The driver was wonderful, making sure to point out all of the interesting things on the way. When arriving to Villa Paraiso, we were immediately greated by smiling, friendly faces. These wonderful folks, Anita, Emilio and Norma would be our Hosts for the week. Given that our Spanish is very broken, Norma was a wonderful translator for us. We were shown the beautiful property and were given a choice of 6 bedrooms to choose from, all with AC. Of course they had already made the Honeymoon Suite up for us, Priceless!! The first evening we enjoyed some beverages on the huge terrace as the sun went down. The views could not have been more perfect, watching the sun, listening to the waves crash below, beautiful calming music (of our choice, from their collection) being piped in all over, we knew we had found PARADISE. Anita, the wonderful cook and dear lady, had dinner already for us the first night. Huge shrimp with a delicious rice dish, fresh Broccoli and green salad. HEAVEN We would later find out that this was the norm for the week, we would be asked what we would like for breakfast and lunch, for the next day, each day. Emilio (Husband to Anita, Dad to Norma) would go to the markets each morning to get all of the fresh ingredients. We would pay daily based on our menu selections, which was nice, not having to plan the whole week in advance. Every meal was just as wonderful as the day before. I think we agreed that this has to be one of the BEST panoramic views of the ocean in all of Acapulco, after all, you have 3 levels of the Villa all to yourself to enjoy it. Down one floor is a beautiful Palapa with great decor and comfy couch. This is where you find the relaxing Jacuzzi tub. HEAVEN We were so thrilled at the OUTSTANDING service that we experienced not only by the wonderful staff, but the owners as well. We felt like we were leaving family, as we said our Goodbye's This truly is a very special place, with special people. We will be back soon. THANK YOU!!

Stayed Apr 9, 2016My husband & I and our daughter & son-in-law enjoyed a wonderful week at this absolutely beautiful villa! Anita cooked us wonderful meals and Emilio quietly took care of the pool, shopping & grilling and everything else. We felt so wonderfully taken care of and enjoyed them very much! Our rooms were made up every day too. We had everything we could have wanted! We enjoyed the private beach below 3 of the days we were there. We were careful as the waves can be quite strong! It is quite a trek to climb back up but a quick rinse at the outdoor shower and then a dip in the pool revived us in a hurry. Be prepared for heat and humidity! We used the air conditioning every night. We didn't use the hot tub except once as we preferred the pool but it is a beautiful view from there too. Actually, all three levels you can see and hear the ocean & we spent a lot of time watching the fisherman and birds with the binoculars provided. The Great Kiskadees are usually what we heard 1st thing in the morning and we also watched a cute family of squirrels in the trees. We hope to return with friends in the future as this was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vactions we have had! Thank you Eduardo, Judith, Anita & Emilio!!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969We spent a summer weekend at Villa Paraiso and couldn't have been more delighted. Set in a secluded, secure, gated spot just a couple miles up the coast from Acapulco city center, the house is built into a hillside overlooking a quiet cove with stunning views of the bluffs, ocean and beach below. A safe, private path provides access to the nearly empty beach. Lots of exotic tropical birds, spectacular sunsets, and the occasional small fishing boat to watch from the enormous and well-appointed terraces (one covered, one open). An attractive, curved swimming pool and a jacuzzi are nice amenities. Plenty of ceiling fans to keep the air moving on hot summer days, and our bedroom was comfortably air-conditioned. The staff of three people (cook, caretaker and housekeeper) are friendly and helpful, and were patient with my poor Spanish. We were without a car so we relied on them to call us safe, inexpensive taxis to take us into town, which always arrived on time exactly as promised. Anita's cooking is something to be savored (I'll tell ya, the woman can MAKE a quesadilla, and then there's her guacamole); and the local ingredients she uses (seafood in particular) are exquisite. Hosts Judith and Eduardo happened to be in town the weekend we were there, and they were friendly and gracious with their hospitality throughout our stay. Eduardo even took part of his Saturday to show us around Acapulco, take us to see the famous cliff divers, and clue us into his favorite place to eat tamales. As a side note, we arrived from Mexico City and departed Acapulco by bus. The nonstop Diamante service from bus line Estrella de Oro is highly recommended for comfort, safety, amenities, on-time performance, and cost. All-in-all, highly recommended.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Great place to get relaxed and recharge your batteries. The best part of it is a great view and a private beach (which should be deserved though as it's quite a walk!) Anita was taking good care of us. Merci!
