Villa with terrace for 10, 700 m from the beach, 400 m from shops and market

Beautiful, well-maintained resort with a fantastic heated swimming pool in the center and a fully eqipped kitchen. We enjoyed our stay with 6 adults and 5 children. Highly recommended. We'd love to come back.

This property has everything you could need for a holiday. It was well equipped with essentials you need that you don’t necessarily want to buy. The kitchen was brilliant and the 2 fridges were great for storing all our food and drinks. The pool was excellent, clean and very warm. This was perfect for us as our weather wasn’t very good, but you could still go in the pool as it was so warm. Communication with the host and the person that met us when we arrived was excellent. The property is very large with lots of bedrooms and toilets, it was excellent for our multi generational family of 6. The pictures online really don’t do it justice. The village, supermarkets and beach are really close, no problem to walk to them every day. We would definitely recommend this property.

Swimming pool and pool area perfect. Water very warm A long walk to the beach and boulangerie. The details said 700m to the beach which was incorrect. We needed the car with small children. Surf fantasticb

Excellent stay 6 adults + 4 children The pool is a winner for the children Close to local town centre, shops, restaurants, beech. Lots going on in the town House in excellent position.

Communication, check-in and help to settle in the property is excellent. The amenities are great and upkeep of the property is great. This is our second time staying in the property and we've made more wonderful memories here. Perfect property and location for our large group of friends. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

We stayed here in July/August 2017 - This is a great home spacious for a beach holiday - its clean tidy, well equipped . its completely as advertised including sat tv for UK it has a functional well equipped kitchen and barbecues /plancha to take advantage of the fantastic local produce and seafood .The front terrace is particularity well equipped with large electric awning and patio heaters and lights for barbecue evenings. The house has an electric front gate for total privacy/security and importantly is in close proximity to walk to the center of town / grand plage seafront to take advantage of all the great restaurants and shops. There is a wide range of all major supermarkets and small shops within a one mile radius and there are pushbikes for those who dont want to use a car .The Owner Pierre was very accommodating and i must give a special mention to his neighbor Serge who lives nearby who was always on hand to put out bins for collection and give advice about all things Vendee. As fans of beach surf holidays and the Vendee region we have been to St Gilles many times over last 17 years with our two boys but this was the best visit mainly because of the space and proximity to the town .I would have no problem recommending this house for future holidays particularly for those looking for family beach holidays - given the space available
