Villa With Private Pool Within Very Short Walking Distance Of The Beach & Marina

Wonderful villa in a perfect location. Quiet but a short walk from everything. Pool and pool area was beautiful. We had a fabulous family holiday with 9 of us and there was plenty of room.

We had a great time. Villa was beautiful and great for a big family vacation.

Overall we had great vacation. In case of problems we always had a contact - thanks Rute- and got help immediately.

Overall nice property- great landscaping and pool. Plenty of room for large group. First time in Lagos so did not expect it to be so built up. But property within walking distance to beach and marina. A bit longer walk to old town.

Had a great ten days with the whole family recommended why, mainly because of location and Lagos is terrific for all ages

The house was clean, spacious and 5 mins walk from the beach.

The villa was perfect for our needs, including the layout of the house (it was a family reunion), its location in close proximity to everything, additional free parking, a short walk to the beach, etc. We found the property management very responsive and helpful. Tracey and Adrian helped with the airport transfers for our parents and Paula even delivered extra cereal bowl to the house, when we asked for them. In addition, the cleaning folks came and changed the bedding and towels and did some light cleaning half-way through our stay. Unexpected and we were pleasantly surprised. Overall, we had a great experience and would love to stay there again next time. Thank you, Algarve Retreats!

Very spacious, comfortable villa in a good location. Fifteen minutes walking distance from Lagos Marina and another ten minutes to the old town. Its about twenty minutes walk to the Pingo supermarket. Meia beach is in walking distance but the preferred beaches such as Batata and Dona Ana are a taxi ride away which takes about 7-10 mins. Getting uBers is ok from the beaches and supermarket back to the villa but getting them from the villa is not so easy as its just off the beat and track. We often opted to walk into town and just get in a cab at the rank. So if you don't want to walk or wait for uBers hire a car which was ridiculously expensive in summer 2022 to make a few short journeys. Overall, this is 5* accommodation with a great pool and Lagos is lovely old town which feels less touristic than Praia Da Luz for example.

Following two deferred holidays owing to Covid-19 we decided on Portugal and were so fortunate that this villa was available. Exactly as described and suited our 3-generation needs owing to the cleverly designed layout with bedrooms at both ends of the villa with a central (very large) living and dining area. The pool is very secluded. Easy walks to the beach, marina, and old town. 8, 10 and 20 minutes respectively. Ideally situated for day trips to beaches and places of interest. Highly recommended. Also Algarve Retreats are extremely helpful.

Good location and well kept. However, none of the Bathroom had bath soaps; adequate toilet paper also not provided. One has to buy one's own Garbage bags. The Deposit hasn't been refunded yet.
