Villa with pool and stunning views near beach Ponta do Sol

All was very good, lovely clean house and great island.

Beautiful villa with amazing views!!! Nice and tidy, modern inside. Very quiet area. About 15/20min walk to beach, restaurants, shop. We didn't had a car taxi available at the village. Only one thing didn't like villa is on big mountain and it's VERY STEEP to walk back :)

Property great, very well kitted out. You would need a car as no local bus service. On a steep incline not easy to walk if you are not young and fit, we were all mid 70's

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful house, which is in a fantastic location. However, several maintenance issues affected our experience and prevent us from giving a perfect score. Mattress Condition: The downstairs mattresses have numerous tiny spots, which raised concerns about potential bed bugs. We strongly recommend involving pest control professionals to inspect and address this issue thoroughly. Shower Drainage: The downstairs shower has a drainage problem, causing the floor to remain wet and leading to significant mould in the cubicle. Providing a floor squeegee and enhancing cleaning routines could help as a temporary fix, but a long-term solution is needed. Linens and Towels: The towels and kitchen linens had an unpleasant smell when we arrived. We had to wash them before use, which was inconvenient. Ensuring freshly laundered linens for guests would be an easy improvement. Ongoing Issues: Some issues noted in past reviews, such as the leaking toilet, still haven’t been addressed. Additionally, the swimming pool had noticeable debris at the bottom, which gave the impression of irregular maintenance. Overall, these concerns suggest a lack of regular upkeep, which is unfortunate because this house has incredible potential. Addressing these maintenance issues would significantly enhance the guest experience and help the property live up to its full charm.

The house is beautiful. The pool area is an amazing place to take in the views, sunsets and relax. The directions and accompanying literature provided by the host are very informative and answered all of our questions about using the house amenities. Highly recommend taking advantage of the bakery delivery truck that drives past every morning at ~9:15. There is a nespresso machine and drip/filter coffee maker for caffeine needs. If we’re ever back in Madeira, we will hope to stay here again. Highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful time at Ponta do Sol and highly recommend this rental! The villa is very well maintained, equipped with everything you could possibly wish for, clean and very spacious. And we simpy could not get enough of this view! We loved the bakery van every morning and the short walk (+ elevator) to the center of Ponto do Sol where you can find a supermarket and several really nice restaurants. To say Madeira is beautiful is an understatement. It is just breathtaking in so many ways. I am 100% sure we will come back and I would also love come back to this beautiful property. Thank you for having us!

Me and my friend had a week at this beautiful home! It’s a great house with a private garden. It has everything to make it a perfect home for a holiday. If it wasn’t for a dirty pool (must mention that we had a storm two of the days) and that the cleaners start knocking on the windows 20 minutes before the check out time - it was a perfect stay.
