Stayed Dec 31, 1969Very much enjoyed the stay. We were welcomed by Claude, and the owners Olivier and Anne had kindly left us some wine as it was our 5th wedding anniversary. Lovely property, very clean, and with a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of info on the area to read, cable TV with quite a few French channels and within 5 minutes walk of the shops at the front. Two nearby stations to take you to Calvi or Ille Rouse, and a path just beyond the Club Med/Marine Sant'Ambrog station allows you to walk along the coast or up to Lumio and the abandoned village in the hills. If you're looking for a nice villa with nearby amenities, this'd be thoroughly recommended.

Stayed Jun 12, 2016The villa is set in a lovely private development among pine trees right on the Corsican coast between Calvi and Ile-Rousse, very peaceful and with lovely views, an excellent beach and swimming plus a very handy parade of shops, all within a few minutes walk of the property. The house itself was very comfortable, fully (almost over-) equipped with crockery etc, plus a proper oven and hob plus microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Outside it was amazingly private, surrounded by flowering shrubs giving a glimpse of the sea, and with a small but good pool complete with sun loungers and a shady veranda where we ate every meal during our stay. We were 2 couples staying, but the property is really more suited to a family with 2/3 children, as the 2nd bedroom has bunk beds. The owner's father in law lives very locally, and is very helpful. This north-western corner of Corsica is beautiful, and Ile-Rousse is the warmest spot on the island; there are loads of great beaches nearby, Calvi and Ile-Rousse are lovely towns to explore, and the roads south along the coast and into the mountains are spectacular. We would certainly return.
