Villa Touquettoise - downtown -

Property was great. Great location in this pretty town. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants and especially close to the market (that is on 3 times a week). Owner was helpful and met us within 30 mins notice at check in/out which meant minimal fuss. Accommodation was great and as advertised. No toilet on 1st floor (only ground and 2nd), so put those that need to have a bedroom on the same floor as a toilet at the top of the house.

Great little property right in town, would love to come back and stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Jean's property, excellent location and plenty of room for two families with children. We will certainly look to stay here again in the future!

Fantastic location close to the town & beach. Beautifully presented, clean and well equipped house. A few small adjustments would make this a perfect holiday home, another sofa in the lounge, large kettle & bigger toaster, existing ones not big enough for 10 people, hand basin in downstairs wc, shower curtain in 2 nd floor bathroom so you do not wet the walls & floor, more pillows & mirrors in each bedroom, especially for the 7 ladies on our trip & one of the quilts smelt damp . These are just suggestions as we thouroughly enjoyed our break but they would have made it an even better place to stay. We were unable to find the recycling bins, we even asked at the hotel next door so instructions in various languages may of helped or an indication on a map. But these little points aside, great place and venue, thoroughly enjoyed our visit .

Property was a little cramped for 8 of us. Small lounge with only one two seater sofa. Also there was no WiFi. I was told we had to pay for a sim card from a orange dealer. Tried this but would have had to pay for a month's usage. Property was in a great location. I think this would suit a smaller family.

The house is located in a great spot close to the town centre, just round the corner from the market and a very short walk to the beach. It's ideal. The house is very comfortable. However whilst there are bedrooms for 10, if there were 10 staying the other facilities may be difficult. I believe the listing stated sleeps 12...there are only beds for 10. We were one family of 7 (3 children) and so worked ok for us. the layout was a ground floor with a nice living area (sofa for 3, couple of arm chairs and then 'director' chairs); dining area with a table for 8; terrace to the front, well equipped kitchen; nice rear private terrace with morning sun and a table also for 8-10; downstairs wc (no hand basin). First floor - 3 lovely bedrooms (single child's room and two double rooms) and a shower room with hand basin (no wc); Second floor a further 3 lovely bedrooms (a single, twin room and double) and then a bathroom with a small bath with hand held shower over, hand basin and a saniflow type wc. The house was very clean, linen was all freshly laundered and the house Keeper was helpful with questions we had while staying. All in all a great rental, a good price and perfect location. This was our second visit to Le Touquet, the town is well equipped with restaurants, shops and of course the beach with loads of amenities. It's ideal for a short break and so easy to get to from the UK. The parking system in the town is well thought out - green or red tickets depending on how long you wish to park for - so you can park up for a week very easily. Worth looking this up before a visit as the machines aren't that clear if you're not familiar!
