We had a lovely stay, the property was very clean and well equipped. It was a quiet village which was perfect for our stay, the teenagers spent most of their time in the pool when we were not out and about. George and Betty were lovely hosts and we had an unexpected additional clean part way through our stay which was brilliant.

We rented this property because we were attending a family wedding in nearby Mistegnon. It is located in a small village, which has a great bakery, small shop for all your needs, including fresh produce, butcher, pharmacy, and small local restaurants. You can also walk to the nearby Monastery. The house is ideal for up to two couples, perhaps even with young children, since it is possible to keep each bedroom / bathroom area separated. One night we had five adults and we were able to make that work. The beds are comfortable and each bathroom has a shower. There is also a washing machine in one of the bathrooms. The real gem of the property is the common living space, which includes a large, bright and airy kitchen, with an eat-in kitchen table that was able to seat seven people, as well as a beautiful large, bright and airy living room. The living room has a comfortable couch, easy chair, and chaise lounge. It was a lovely place for us to gather as a family. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare and cook food. The fridge was large and the dishwasher worked very well. The owners provided ample trash bags, cleaning supplies, including dishwashing tabs and laundry soap. We rented the property for eight days and we were pleasantly surprised upon check in when the owner asked what day was suitable for the cleaning lady to come in and service the property. So halfway through our stay, we received freshly made beds, with clean sheets and pillow cases, fresh towels, clean bathrooms, and a clean kitchen. What a delightful treat that was for us! During our stay the heat index continued to climb so it was a particular treat to be able to cool off in the wonderful private pool. It was just the right size for us to enjoy and the owner even had the pool cleaned during our stay. The entire pool area is surrounded by wonderful gardens. It is important to note this property is located on a hill, which provides for wonderful views from the upper terrace, but does require you to walk up the cobblestone hill that leads to the property and the stairs both outside and inside the house. One member of our party was not able to walk without the aid of a cane, so we were not sure if it would be a problem, but the nice thing is the stairs to the property are wide and easy to navigate so it was just fine. All in all, this is one VRBO that we would rent again the next time we are in Lesvos.

George and his brother Yannis’ Villa Thermi is in a very small village about 30 - 45 min north of MJT airport. Yannis met our flight and we followed him to the Villa. He helped us unload, introduced us to the small market a hundred meters or so away and to the single main restaurant owner and showed us where to park sever hundred meters away. Pros: situated in a very quiet village, great AC which was very quiet but effective, small but perfect temp pool with a single strong jet near ladder, beautiful view of Aegean in distance (several thousand meters), good charcoal bar b q & excellent fresh growing basil, rosemary and lavender in the small garden, which we used a lot. The local restaurant is limited, bur delish, particularly the baked eggplants garlic & tomatoes, and small fishes. Excellent AB supermarket and deli nearby. Can buy very fresh fish, octopus and lamb in markets in the old town. Veto Ouzo distillery is worth a trip. Cons: Many steep steps, particularly for physically-challenged, kitchen dining area & living room all on upper level, 2 bedrooms and bathrooms on lower level only. Hot water only to one bathroom at a time; must switch breaker to change to other bathroom. Lowest level bed only foam, quite uncomfortable if you have bad back. Dishwasher needed repair. George and Yannis are gracious hosts, checking in to see if we needed anything. Except for steep steps and no bathroom on upper level, I enthusiastically recommend Villa Thermi!

Description of property was quite accurate apart from The site is 1 acre and sea 300 metres away. That is far from the truth. The house was lovely with lots of character with a private front garden. We loved the large fully equipped kitchen with the owner's personal taste in design. Very comfortable and clean living room on the first level. It really was home from home. We were met by the owners at the airport. They were a lovely couple and made us feel very welcome and providing us with fridge full of food and drink. Unfortunately we had booked this holiday too early for Lesvos season and had a job to find anything open in the evenings. We hired a car and drove round this beautiful island during the day and watched some good films on TV in the evenings. This part of the island is not commercialised. We don't think the locals had ever seen a tourist before ! We will have to point out the things that need attention within the property: The bedrooms were far too damp to sleep in ( they were on ground level) That might be because of time the year!! The shower did not have a curtain or a screen so the water was running into the hall. The upstairs balcony is not safe as it does not have railings to stop children( especially )falling down. I would recommend this property to friends for high season only.

The listing description was accurate regarding everything that was described on the website : the house is wonderful ( very modern equipment in a traditional building), the garden lovely, the owners absolutely charming. The property was very clean and well-maintained. But you can hear everything that is said or done from one floor to the other, or from one room to the other; in fact, on the ground floor there are two bathrooms and two separate rooms, one absolutely independant, the other with two extra large beds only separated by a curtain. Nevertheless, our holidays were perfect, also because of the village, so lovely and quiet. You absolutely need a car or a scooter to reach the beaches and to discover the island, that is large and wild.We would of course recommend this property to anyone who likes quietness.

We really loved this holiday villa. The description and pictures on this site are true, but the reality is even better! Beautiful, green, garden, big house, airconditioning, fresh fruit, chees and bread at our arrival, cleaning twice a week, very close to the beach, lovely, small and quiet town near the airport, perfect!
