Stayed Apr 6, 2019On arrival, (2 days later than planned due to family sickness) the villa was still not ready despite 2 extra days to prepare. The 2 maids didn't leave until 10.30pm which was a big hindrance due to us having travelled all day and being very tired. We discovered immediately there were Insufficient towels for 5 people, an ill equipped kitchen, chipped crockery and glasses, missing DVD player despite being listed as available, no batteries or enough air con remote controls, hardly any loo rolls or enough hand soap. The villa photos on Home & Away do NOT represent the reality. It is very tired inside and out; Peeling paint, crumbling walls, leaky showers, broken taps, electric wires exposed and a light switch missing completely; the pool was not cleaned and the garden furniture is broken, damaged and dirty. We did flag all this with Akram the owner based in the UK, who then offered us to move from this villa (#7) to his other villa (#19) 100m away within the resort after 36 hrs, at no extra cost. We were told to look first to see if we liked it. Villa 19 from the outside looks great and modern and a larger superior property. Therefore we accepted his offer. So we repacked our stuff (again) and moved villas to start our holiday in earnest. Sadly it was extremely short lived as we literally jumped from the frying pan into the fire! Another ill equipped kitchen, broken fridge ice maker, a gas hob with only 1 working ring out of 4, a broken dishwasher and so filthy you wouldn't want to use it anyway; no WiFi working (so they took the router from #7 to get it working!), plumbing issues with banging pipes 24/7. So bad the 1st night we had no sleep (and rock hard beds resulting in sore hips/backs) To resolve it we had to continuously run hot water from a tap to relieve the air lock issues with banging pipes so we could sleep; An invasion of ants also in the master bedroom! The next morning we came down to sewage smells permeating the air throughout the villa so bad it made you gag! We fully co-operated with Akram to get these issues to fixed as stated above. However, the WiFi was the only thing resolved! You can therefore imagine that this was hardly a 'holiday', having had an army of people coming every day and us project managing the problems! We begged for this to stop so we could have at least 2 days of normality by the pool uninterrupted before we flew home. We've got photographic evidence of the issues at villa #7 & #19 to share with you

Stayed Apr 20, 2019Group of 9 (adults and kids) stayed here for the weekend, enjoyed the villa immensely. If you're looking for privacy and place to spend quality time with your family, this is the one for you, the villa has 4 bedrooms, and there is more than enough space in the living rooms for more people to sleep. The villa could easily have more bedrooms. There is a private swimming pool and a garden to realx. I would advise renting a car if you are a large group. The owner can also book airport transfers or taxis to pick you up if you don't want to drive. The owner and his staff gave us an amazing service. Overall, the villa is away from the hustle and bustle of the city and one could just relax there and not venture out as it is such a relaxing place to holiday. A cook can prepare your meals and someone can buy groceries for you (small fee to cover fuel and time). We would definitely come to stay here again if we were coming back to Marrakech. I strongly recommend this villa.

Stayed Sep 9, 2017My stay was absolutely amazing at Akram's villa, it exceeded my expectations. The location was easy to be found, a secured and clean place, peaceful and very calm. The villa is new, very clean, fully equipped and spacious. I highly recommend this property for people who look for calm and peaceful. I also admit that Akram was one of the most professional hosts i have ever dealt with, he is a kind, cooperative and very professional guy, i look forward to visiting his villa in the future.
