Villa Reale - Holiday Villa Rental with swimming pool in Assisi, Umbria

Un très bel extérieur avec de beaux arbres, une belle piscine (le piscinier passe tous les jours nettoyer), un barbecue, un four à pizza. Une grande terrasse couverte de vie. Un intérieur qui mélange le bon et le moins bon. Des chambres bien meublées, des SDB, mais un agencement peu ergonomique. Maison en deux partis, Trois petits frigidaires à trois endroits différents par exemple. Cuisines peu pratiques Salons vieillot. Mais pour l'été, cela n'impacte que très peu. “Una bella accoglienza sia da parte degli Host che della casa in se’. Una quercia secolare accoglie all’ingresso, la piscina e il giardino con il barbecue fanno venire voglia di non andare via... le stanze sono piacevoli e ampie , i letti sono confortevoli ... ci sono dettagli che rendono questa grande casa di campagna ospitale e molto godibile anche quando si è un bel gruppo.”

in overall quite happy with the villa. we got this recommended by friends who went here last year. good location (nice villages near, Assisi and Perugia also nearby), nice pool (cleaned almost every day) etc. some minor events; - unfortunately, the water was cut off when we arrived. it was taken care of in some hours. meanwhile we used poolwater to flush the toilets. - there was no wifi in the first 5 days, it was fixed later, but took them a few days to get in action. we had to buy extra data on our phones. it took some energy, time + few phone calls to the property manager to get everything fixed. but overall we were quite happy, will recommend to friends.

Beautiful villa secluded from the closest town so that it felt private but close enough to the beautiful villages of Umbria. We were a group of 14 and it felt spacious. Unfortunately we had a lot of rain but we cosied up in the fireplace and still had dinner outside under the covered outside eating area. You could call up the related resort on the landline at anytime if you were missing anything and they were very helpful. I also used the concierge service to have wine delivered to the villa and it was waiting for me when I arrived. All in all an excellent experience and would go back, hopefully when the weather is nicer.

Perfect place for staying in Assisi

We have stayed in Villa Reale and the villa is in excellent state, located in the middle of farm lands. It has a large garden with swimming pool. The most striking aspect of our stay was that right from our bedroom we would enjoy a spectacular view on the illuminated city of Assisi including the Rocca Maggiore and Basilica di San Francesco. Supermarkets and restaurants can be found in nearby Bastia Umbria or Santa Maria degli Angeli. In other words, this is a great place and it is absolutely recommendable for a great Italian holiday.

Thank you for a great vacation and the wonderful hospitality. All the family greatly enjoyed our time at the villa and will recommend it to our friends. The spa close to the villa was modern and clean and we enjoyed a great massage. The staff was very friendly and helped us with finding great restaurants and an amazing wine tour (monte vibiano - highly recommended).
