Stayed Dec 31, 1969Wow, what a place and what a wonderful time we had! There is a guest book and we found many guests speaking of their 'little paradise'. That's exactly how we felt: The minute you enter the gate and drive along the garden estate, it feels like paradise. And once you enter the apartment, cross the living room, open the big glass doors to the terrace, you just never want to leave again. Instead of going out for dinner we found ourselves nibbling olives, tomatoes and cheese with a red wine, watching the sun go down next to the puffing volcano Stromboli. No restaurant could serve us this wonderful atmosphere! The apartment itself is cosy, perfectly clean and even better equipped than described, with a toaster, a coffee machine, a water boiler, a hairdryer, and the bedroom windows with mosquito nets which will come handy in summer. Fascinating Tropea is just a stone-throw away and so are the most beautiful bays with their clear, blue-turquoise water and eye-catching rock formations, not to forget the woods of the Serra San Bruno and the Aspromonte National Park, great for hiking tours. A week was far too short - we'll be back! Patricia
