Villa (penthouse duplex) with indoor pool, private spa and 180° sea view

This is a very well equipped duplex with stunning view over the atlantic Ocean. We enjoyed the Pool and jacuzzi very much. Another plus was the Barbecue ,we used it nearly every day to grill fresh seafood. The small beaches just over the Street are very nice and Not Crowdsourcing. Very nice contact with the owner, Nicolas, who was always very helpful. Can absolutely recommend this property!

property very comfortable and plenty to entertain the children from swimming in pool to watching netflix on tv. We loved the fabulous views of the sea from the very large balcony and even found ourselves staying in some evenings and cooking which i would never do on holidays

Without doubt the best self-catering property we have rented. The layout for our family of 4 was perfect. Everyone had their own bedroom. The open plan living area was massive for us. The chairs and sofa were comfy. The dining table converting into a pool table was a bonus. The huge TV was great as we took a PS4 with us for DVDs, games, Netflix, Amazon video (an Xbox 360 is already there for your use anyway!) The galley kitchen is very well specced out and the utility room was handy too. As the apartment is the whole of the 2nd floor of the building (plus roof space for extra bedrooms), the outside terrace area is huge. The view out to the Atlantic is wonderful and the sound of the sea is ever there, even on calm days when waves are washing up the beach. We stayed off-season and the area was very quiet which we liked. I imagine in the summer it is chaotic as the shoreline appears to be primarily summer houses and apartments. Having said that, the seafront has a very slow speed limit so I'd guess the traffic noise is pretty minimal even in peak season. Thanks to Nicolas and Celine for the excellent communications throughout the holiday process. And also to Perrine for the meet and greet, and explanations of everything despite our mutual language barrier! We'd wholly recommend this as a base for a Vendee holiday. Within a hour's driving radius there is lots to discover.

We rent several times a year nice house via HomeAway, but this is the first house where everything is perfect! The house, including the outside terrace is clean and spacious, nice view over the ocean (and sunset) while having breakfast/dinner, the kitchen is very well equipped (including a Nespresso machine which is a good alternative if you're used to an espressomachine at home). The beds are good/firm, indoor Pool (with back current option) and Spa are amazing. Living room with big flatscreen (nice for connecting my mediaplayer with films :-)) In short: wonderful penthouse for enjoying and relaxing!! I even hesitated to write this review because I surely want to come back when I'm in France, so I should not make to many people enthusiastic for this penthouse :-)! By the way, Nicolas is very friendly and helpful, always trying to answer my many questions ansd is also very correct about to the financial settlement. I got my security deposit back at my Dutch account within three days!

We've been going to Vendee for 20 years now and we never had the chance to be in a perfect palce like Villa Eden ever before. We appreciated the surface, clealiness , view, complete modern equipement of the house. Indoor Pool and Spa is just amazing!! We were able to relax in the enormous terrace while kids are enjoying by themeselves safely. We were able to visit several cities as well for it is located in between villes. St Jean de Monts is just 15 mins away, St Gilles de Croix de vie in 10 mins away and 20 mins to Les Sable d'olonne. We appreciated the kindness and availability of Nicolas the owner and Perrine the governess too. We will surely be back here next year with much longer days. The penthouse made our week vacation complete and enjoyable. It is simply Perfect!!!!
